Climate activists believe that schoolchildren should be murdered by their teachers, to protect them from global warming

Except for three hours last Monday, I have been in continuous sub-freezing weather since December 27 in Colorado, New Mexico and Maryland. Including -24F in Fort Collins on New Year’s Eve.

NOAA and NASA will both announce this month that 2014 was the hottest year ever. These claims are absurd, and based on intentional deception.

The biggest problem is that they are ignoring the most accurate data sets, which come from satellites and show that 2014 was nowhere near as warm as several other years.

This discrepancy alone should prevent them from making these claims. But there are many other problems. The amount of sea ice on Earth has been persistently above normal, and Antarctic sea ice area has been at record highs

This indicates cold temperatures at high latitudes, where NASA and NOAA have little or no coverage. This excess sea ice reflects sunlight back into space, and cools the planet.

But it gets worse. Autumn Northern Hemisphere snow extent was at a record high. This indicates cold air at low latitudes, and further reflects sunlight back into space, providing more cooling feedback.

Winter snow cover was also well above average, indicating cold air at low latitudes and additional cooling of the planet.

NASA has massively and repeatedly altered their own published data, to cool the past and warm the present. The animation below show their published 1981 surface temperatures in black, and subsequent 1999 and 2014 versions in red. This is consistent with an increase in propaganda, but not consistent with an increase in temperature.

None of these things are consistent with “hottest year ever.” NASA has known for decades that satellite data is more accurate, and their current willful ignorance of their own satellite temperatures, indicates that they are engaged in propaganda, not science.

Last year, 58% of the US was below normal temperature.

So far this year, 82% of the US is below normal temperature.

Government experts say that it is the hottest year ever.

In 1968, Enoch Powell gave his famous “Rivers of Blood” speech, warning that uncontrolled immigration from the Middle East would lead to disaster for the UK. Progressives labeled him a racist and ran him out of Parliament.

During 2012, shortly after announcing the demise of winter (see the post below this one)  -Bryan Walsh of Time Magazine also announced the demise of rain.

Shortly after he made that announcement, the drought ended, and the US became wetter than normal.

Bryan has demonstrated that he has no idea what he is talking about, which likely lines him up as Obama’s next press secretary.
