NCDC shows January-September 2014 as being warmer than normal, but the thermometer data it comes from shows the same period as being the 17th coldest on record.

They accomplish this impressive piece of propaganda by massively cooling the past, to create the appearance of a non-existent warming trend.

Two thirds of the country has been very cold. But facts aren’t important when your job is to generate propaganda.

Lake Superior obliterated all records for ice this year, which NCDC says is warmer than normal.

The frequency of 100 degree days was near a record low this year, yet NCDC says it was a hot year.

Climate scientists love 1979, because it was very cold and allows them to create wildly misleading graphs which conflate one leg of a cycle with a long-term linear trend. In the private sector this is called fraud, but in government it allows you to claim you won the Nobel Prize.

2 Western Cities Join Suit to Fight Global Warming

Mayor Jerry Brown of Oakland, who is a former governor of California and a former presidential candidate, said in an interview today that the suit was necessary because “there’s been such an abject failure on the part of the Bush administration to protect the people of this country from the seriously deleterious effects of climate disruption.”

The Oakland city council, which voted on Dec. 17 to join the suit, contends that global warming could cause the sea levels to rise, putting the city’s groundwater aquifers at risk of saltwater contamination and threatening to flood the airport and sewer systems.

The tide gauge at Oakland reports no sea level rise since George W Bush was born in 1946. Facts and progressives are mutually exclusive.

With eastern Arctic ice above normal, total ice extent will be very close to the 1981-2010 mean in a few weeks. Might even go above the mean. Look for a spectacular ramp up of Arctic lies this autumn from government funded experts.

There is no significant man-made global warming at this time, there has been none in the past and there is no reason to fear any in the future. Efforts to prove the theory that carbon dioxide is a significant “greenhouse” gas and pollutant causing significant warming or weather effects have failed. There has been no warming over 18 years. William Happer, Ph.D., Princeton University, Richard Lindzen, Ph.D., Massachusetts Institute of Technology, Willie Soon, Ph.D., Harvard Smithsonian Observatory, John Christy, Ph.D., University of Alabama and 9,000 other Ph.D. scientists all agree with my opening two sentences. Yet at your October 23 Hammer Forum on Climate Change you have scheduled as your only speakers two people who continue to present the failed science as though it is the final and complete story on global warming/climate change. This is major mistake.

I use LED lights, which produce a lot of light, and very little heat. Definitely worth the investment. I have never turned on the A/C or heat in Maryland, except for a few days in February, 2012 when I had a house guest.
