The actual number turned out to be 2,642.

In 2008 candidate Barack Obama promised to create 5 million green jobs. He laid out a plan to invest $150 billion over 10 years that would advance a clean-energy economy built around biofuels, hybrid cars, low-emission coal plants, and renewable sources such as solar and wind. How many has he actually created?

The Bureau of Labor Statistics began tracking green jobs two years ago, but it counts only how many existed as of the end of 2010. It doesn’t keep a running total of newly created jobs, so there’s no way to tell how many existed before Obama’s election. The Brookings Institution also has a tally, but it too goes only through 2010, and of the nearly 2.7 million green jobs it identifies, most were bus drivers, sewage workers, and other types of work that don’t fit the “green jobs of the future” that Obama imagined. The report does zero in on cleantech, which includes the wind, solar, fuel-cell, and smart-grid industries. In 2010, Brookings shows, there were 184,699 such jobs nationwide—up 2,642 since the president took office in 2009.

The Illinois State Climatologist says July was the coldest on record

The state climatologist says last month’s relative chilly temperatures tied the record for the coolest July in recorded Illinois history.  And as data are revised he says it’s likely this July will break the record.

NCDC’s actual thermometer data shows that the state climatologist is correct, and that Illinois summers have been cooling since the 19th century.

This puts NCDC in a very bad position, because they are massively altering Illinois July temperatures, to hide the cooling trend. How will they handle it?

NOAA and NASA say that Earth is the hottest on record, yet the amount of sea ice on Earth is the highest since 1996, and the sixth highest on record. Polar amplification is a fundamental tenet of global warming theory, which means the people putting out this propaganda are defrauding the public.

The other fundamental tenet of global warming theory is that the mid-troposphere will warm faster than the surface. Satellites show that the lower to mid-troposphere was much warmer during other years, so once again another smoking gun of fraud at NOAA/NASA.

It is easy for us laymen to become confused by the words of  scientists. For example, when Nobel Laureate Albert Arnold Gore predicted an ice-free Arctic in 2014, what he really meant was 2014 would be the summer when Arctic sea ice extent returns to the mean.

Breathtakingly ignorant people like myself simply aren’t qualified to interpret the words of such a brilliant scientist.

According to little Mikey, the climate suddenly went nuts in the year 1910.

It isn’t clear what might have caused Mr. Climate to have a nervous breakdown then, because CO2 was hardly rising around that time.

So I spent the last 30 seconds researching the history of that year, and discovered that 1910 was the summer when the first night game was played at White Sox Park. The lights apparently made Gaia feel very romantic, and the rest is history.
