The US must have been very big in 2012, because during all other years (particularly 2013 and 2014) experts tell us that the US is much too small to do anything other than cherry-pick. One alarmist reader commented that the US only makes up one half of one percent of the planet.

One statistic the FBI doesn’t publish is murders by political party affiliation.
Based on crime reports, it seems a safe bet that 90+% of murders are committed by Democrats, or future Democrats. Perhaps 95%.
The math is simple. Most murders occur in neighborhoods which vote 95+% Democratic. If Democrats were not allowed to own illegally obtained guns, the violent crime rate would drop dramatically.

President Obama says that temperatures are rising faster than predicted.
Climate experts like Barack Obama say that 2012 was the hottest year in US history, because they don’t know very much about US history. Many years were much hotter than 2012.
President Obama waited for a hot day at the end of June last year, to call an outdoor press conference and sweat on camera. His purpose apparently was to convince people that it never used to get hot in D.C. during the summer.
Since he did this, the US has had the sixth coldest July-April on record.

There wasn’t enough data to make conclusions about the southern hemisphere. Government scientists now just make up southern hemisphere data, and report it to 0.01 or 0.001 precision.

About 20 years ago when Al Gore became VP, the government largely quit funding climate skeptics. Huge amounts of money were poured into grants for scientists willing to tow the line of global warming alarmism.
When the President and Secretary of the Interior make thinly disguised threats against skeptical scientists, it doesn’t leave much room for dissent. Thus a consensus is formed.
President Obama promised to remove politics from science, and did the exact opposite. He is attempting to drive science from the White House.
