Sea level is rapidly falling in Canada and Alaska, and rising slightly in the other 56 US states. This is because of glacial rebound. During the last ice age, Canada was depressed by the weight of the ice. This same effect caused the US to be pushed up, like how squeezing a water balloon causes it to bulge.

Once the ice melted, the Canadian land mass began to rise, and the US land mass did the opposite. Almost all of the US stations which report rise are below the fake University of Colorado 3 mm/year which is the standard talking point of climate experts.

Climate experts say that they predicted expanding Antarctic sea ice all along, which is why they have been telling us for years that melting sea ice threatens penguins.

One of the nation’s leading bird conservation groups plans to sue the Obama administration over a federal regulation that allows wind energy companies to obtain 30-year permits to kill eagles without prosecution by the government.

The American Bird Conservancy on Wednesday announced its intent to file the lawsuit, arguing the Department of the Interior violated federal laws when it promulgated the regulation it says sanctions the killing of bald and golden eagles.

“The rule lacks a firm foundation in scientific justification and was generated without the benefit of a full assessment of its impacts on eagle populations,” said Michael Hutchins, National Coordinator of ABC’s Bird Smart Wind Energy Campaign.

The Obama administration announced in December it would allow companies to seek authorization to kill and harm bald and golden eagles for up to 30 years without penalty in a bid to balance the environmental trade-offs of green energy.

The Interior Department rule provides legal protection for the lifespan of wind farms and other projects if companies obtain permits and make efforts to avoid killing protected birds.

Companies must take additional measures if they kill or injure more eagles than they had estimated they would, or if new information suggests that eagle populations are being affected.

In its notice of intent to sue the government, the American Bird Conservancy argues that the rule “undermines the nation’s longstanding commitment to conservation of eagles—unique animals that are ‘ubiquitous in U.S. culture.”

The group says the regulation violates the National Environmental Policy Act, the Endangered Species Act, and the Bald and Golden Eagle Protection Act.

1. Government believes they can control people by controlling the amount of available energy
2. Government believes that they control the amount of available energy, by cutting off low cost, abundant fossil fuels
3. Government pays huge amounts of money to people posing as scientists, to try to scare other people into relinquishing their access to cheap, available energy

Just had an enlightening dinner with Bill Gray. An hour with Bill is more educational than a lifetime of reading global warming research.

Bill explained tonight that the recent spell of ice ages (~3 million years ago) coincided with the closing of the isthmus of Panama. This isolated the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans, and created the current pattern of regular glacial episodes. The Atlantic now goes through warm episodes of surface evaporation and buildup of dense saline water at the surface, followed by cold periods where the dense saline water sinks and brings up cold water from depth.

Prior to the closing of the isthmus, the Pacific and Atlantic waters mixed and remained a more even and warmer temperature.

Always a pleasure to hear a climate theory which actually seems plausible.
