Two weeks ago, Kevin Trenberth highlighted the “record US warmth” in 2012 as proof of global warming.

A short two weeks later I wrote a post about record cold in the US in 2014, and find out that the US has shrunk down to “1/2 of 1 percent of the Earths Surface“

It is incredible how quickly the US is shrinking in the eyes of progressives – who hate this country.

One of the great scams they are pulling now is to pick out an isolated event, make up fake statistics, and assign it to climate change.

Here are a few examples.

1. After an historically quiet period of hurricane activity in the US, Sandy hit. Jeff Masters immediately made up some fake statistics about it, and now it is proof of climate change.
2. After an historically quiet Atlantic hurricane season, Jeff Masters made up some fake statistics about Typhoon Yolanda, and it became proof of climate change.
3. Same story with tornadoes in 2014.

Climate alarmists know that they can lie as much as they want, and they will rewarded financially. Masters’ Weather Underground is named after a 1960’s terrorist organization.

Hardly a day goes by without the Guardian claiming the Arctic is melting. Then they post this.

In the 1920’s hundreds of Americans died every year in tornadoes. Tornado deaths are much less common now, despite the fact that the number of people in harms way in Tornado Alley is much larger.
