Global Sea Ice Area Higher Than 1979

The amount of sea ice on earth is 11th highest on record for the date, and higher than most of the years d the 1990’s. Climate experts say that sea ice disappearing is proof of global warming.

1974 : Worst Tornado Outbreak In US History Was Due To Excess Arctic Ice

The Canberra Times   Thursday 16 May 1974

NEW YORK, Wednesday (AAP). — Weather satellites sweeping across the northern hemisphere have come up with a surprise: the permanent snow and ice  cap has increased sharply, Associated Press reported. The finding is cited as one more indication of what some climatologists believe to be a basic change in the world’s climate, a cooling

The location and duration of snow and pack-ice fields constituted the most important seasonal variable in the earth’s heat balance, the two scientists wrote in Science, journal of the American Association for the Advancement of Science.

The Kukla report is cited by Dr F. Kenneth Hare, of the University of Toronto, a leading climatologist, who says the big ice expansion preceded the coldest Canadian winter yet recorded.  In the winter of 1972, Dr Hare said in an interview,  temperatures were below normal for the entire year over the entire country. This had never happened before.  For the north-eastern third of the country, Dr Hare said, it was the coldest year on record, in many places coldest by a wide margin. In many areas, he continued, there were as many as 19 consecutive months of below normal temperatures.  The earliest serious records began in 1840, Dr Hare noted. So for 130 years there has not been anything like it.

“I don’t know what caused this”, he said.  “But the climate has in fact shifted into a more extreme phase”.

In the past few years, with the cooling of the earth and the southward movement of the subtropical high-pressure areas, drought frequency had been increasing in India.  If droughts returned to India with a frequency like that which prevailed at the turn of the century, but with a population swollen four fold, the human and political consequences would be enormous.

Democrats Knew That Obama Was Lying, And Continue To Lie About It

While appearing on Sunday’s edition of ABC’s “This Week,” Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, D-N.Y., admitted Democrats in the Senate knew Obama lied when he said Americans could keep their insurance, but that was apparently secondary to women’s health issues.

“Do you feel misled by Obama?” Martha Raddatz asked.

Gillibrand responsed by saying that Obama “should have been more specific.”

“So were you misled?” Raddatz asked in a follow-up.

No,” Gillibrand said. “We all knew.”

LA Times Takes Climate Lying To New Levels

This may be the most spectacular bullshit they have come up with yet.

In Washington, Ill., where at least one person was killed and 37 others injured, officials suspect the tornado that blasted the town may have been an EF-4, packing winds from 166 mph to 200 mph.

There have been more than three dozen moderate-strength tornadoes in Illinois since record keeping began in 1885, but there had never been such a strong tornado in Illinois “until this year,” the weather service said.

‘Off the charts’ November storms led to record-breaking tornadoes – latimes.com

The deadliest tornado in US history was an F-5 which hit Illinois during March, 1925. There have been more than 1,400 tornadoes in Illinois since 1990.

Good To See Global Warming Making A Comeback

The team has gone full stupid by making a new round of global warming claims (“warming twice as fast as we thought“) just ahead of what is likely to be a brutally cold winter.
