Now NOAA can issue a press release that it was an “unusually active hurricane season”  and insurance companies can raise their rates – just as they forecast a few weeks ago.

Last winter they blamed the cold weather on missing Arctic ice. What is their excuse going to be this year, now that Arctic ice is back to “normal.”
