1990 : Crack Scientists Predict 8 Degrees Warming By 2050

Team of Scientists Sees Substantial Warming of Earth

Assembled by the United Nations in an attempt to arrive at an international consensus on global warming, a team of scientists says it is a ”virtual certainty” that the temperature of the earth’s surface will rise substantially in the next century.

So far this century we have had zero warming.

The scientists generally agree with the theory that has been largely accepted by other national and international panels: that energy trapped in a greenhouse effect by industrial gases will warm the earth by 3 to 8 degrees Fahrenheit within the next 60 years.

What Happened To Syria?

Three weeks ago, the first couple (McCain/Obama) were telling us that the world would end if we didn’t bomb Syria.

The US Is Going To Default

Sooner or later the US is going to default. Assuming 50 million actual taxpayers in the country, the current national debt works out to $340,000 per taxpayer, and that is without considering future interest. The real number is well over $1,000,000 after interest.

Given that there is no way to pay that back, it is a foregone conclusion that the US will go into default sometime in the not too distant future.

Thank you Barry for doubling the national debt – while demoralizing the country. At least you managed to wreck the coal industry in the process.

Progressives Stink

The same morons who worked tirelessly to make make Colorado smoke free, are now stinking up the place with marijuana smoke. You can’t go anywhere around here now without smelling weed.

With Denver poised to allow recreational marijuana sales, Mayor Michael Hancock wants to act now to stop public pot smoking.

Under an ordinance he plans to introduce Monday, possessing, smoking or giving away marijuana would be illegal in city parks, Denver’s downtown pedestrian mall and recreational facilities. Smoking in a car or on private property the pot can be seen or smelled would also be barred.

Proponents of the constitutional amendment that allows recreational marijuana use and the American Civil Liberties Union say it’s unconstitutional.

So tobacco is evil, but marijuana is good.

Boner Folds, As Expected

Senators say they are nearing a deal on shutdown, debt

At one time, congressional Republicans said they would not vote for a new spending plan or raise the debt ceiling unless Obama delayed parts of the new health care law — but such delays are not part of the proposed agreement.

At 3 p.m. ET, Obama will meet at the White House with bipartisan congressional leaders: Senate Majority Leader Harry Reid, D-Nev.; Senate Minority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky.; House Speaker John Boehner, R-Ohio; and House Minority Leader Nancy Pelosi, D-Calif. Vice President Biden will also attend the session.

People Starting To Wake Up

After decades of allowing progressives to destroy everything good about their countries, sane people in Europe, Australia and the US are starting to wake up.

Rise of France’s Front National mirrors trend across Europe

Results of a new poll show them rejecting the parties of the last two presidents, the Socialists of François Hollande and the Union pour un mouvement populaire (UMP) of his predecessor, Nicolas Sarkozy.

Instead, 25% said they preferred the far-right party of Marine Le Pen, the Front National — the first time she has headed a poll for a national vote.

France’s leaning to the extreme right mirrors what is happening across Europe, with Frank Stronach’s Team Stronach in Austria, Jobbik in Hungary and Geert Wilders’ Freedom Party in the Netherlands all attracting new support.

Though the Ifop poll asked only about voting intentions for next year’s European parliamentary elections, the pollster believes similar results would obtain in any election in France itself, reports The Guardian’s Kim Willsher.

Sorry progressives. The world can’t tolerate your mental illness any more.
