Russian investigators say they have found what appear to be hard drugs on board the Greenpeace ship seized during a protest in the Arctic last month.

“During a search of the ship, drugs (apparently poppy straw and morphine) were confiscated,” Russia’s Investigative Committee said.

Poppy straw, or raw opium, can be used to produce morphine or heroin.

If catastrophic global warming is real, why do government agencies feel the need to cheat, lie and tamper with data?

1. Because it is not real.
2. Because their funding depends on it.
3. Because they have been instructed by the White House to generate politically useful data.
4. Because they are headed by slimy politicians, not real scientists.
5. All of the above.
6. Global warming is the most serious problem the world has faced since it was destroyed on December 21, 2012.

Last week, the Guardian published this spectacular lie –

This was patently false. pH was much lower in the past.

So they have scaled back their lies to something only slightly less disgusting.

In 1998, Hansen wrote :

it is clear that 1998 did not match the record warmth of 1934, which occurred during the Dust Bowl era

NASA GISS: Global Temperature Trends (This document was deleted from NASA servers in 2004 or 2005)

His 1998 graph showed 1998 as being the third warmest year – after 1934 and 1921, with 1998 a full degree cooler than 1934. It also showed a strong cooling trend after the 1930s.

Two years later he simply altered the data to make 1998 warmer than 1934 and 1921.
