We’ve had the opportunity to decompress over the last week and reflect on our arctic experience. We communicated with Eric Solomon  – Vancouver Aquarium’s Director of Arctic Programs –  to share our experience and he made some interesting points in regard to the ice we experienced on the strangely cold year in the arctic:

“It’s about putting it all in context, really.” He states, “For example, this year’s sea ice extent is still 1.41 million square kilometers below the 1981-2010 average, and is the 6th lowest sea ice extent in the satellite record. The ice that (you) guys encountered says more about where the ice was over the last 2 months than how much ice there has been over-all. There is, for example, a big hole in the ice near the North Pole right now. Meanwhile, the winds have been blowing a lot of ice down into the Archipelago and into the region where (you) guys have been rowing.”

Climate change is happening and is being evidenced even during a cold year like we just experienced.

How much ice is really out there this year?

The ultimate proof of global warming would be a new ice age.

An eight year-old child bride died in Yemen on her wedding night after suffering internal injuries due to sexual trauma. Human rights organizations are calling for the arrest of her husband, who was five times her age.

Al Nahar, Lebanon, reported that the death occurred in the tribal area of Hardh in northwestern Yemen, which borders Saudi Arabia. This brings even more attention to the already existing issue of forced child marriages in the Middle East.

It is reported that over a quarter of Yemen’s young girls are married before the age of 15. Not only do they lose access to health and education, these child brides are commonly subjected to physical, emotional and sexual violence in their forced marriages.

President Obama has been working hard to spread Islamic fundamentalism throughout the Middle East.

Complete bullshit, but all they need is one scumbag to start the rumor, and then it gets repeated a million times.

Climate scientists tell us that life can’t survive in warm climates, so millions of people who were planning on spending their winter holiday in Mexico are now booking a vacation in Winnipeg.

If CO2 controls the climate as 97% of all intelligent people believe, then 307 PPM would fry the US and 400 PPM will keep us cool.

Climate scientists tell us that colder is better, so we must set a goal of 2,000 PPM in order to bring back the glaciers to Chicago.

Scientists have recently theorized that warm air and water is causing Antarctic sea ice to expand. This makes sense if you have the IQ of a turnip, so I propose a different theory which makes slightly more sense.

Today marks 666 consecutive days of above normal Antarctic sea ice. It is clear that Antarctic ice is being jointly controlled by Satan and big oil. Their agenda is to fool the public into not understanding that earth is doomed unless they offer sacrifices to the one true Gaia.

According to a new poll, 57 percent of Americans believe that the devil exists.  Black people, 72 percent, and women, 61 percent, are most likely to believe that Satan is alive, according to the survey by YouGov.

Nineteen men with box cutters brought America to its knees and started an endless series of completely pointless wars. Had the airplane pilots been properly armed, none of this would have happened.

In the last few years we have had two military bases attacked by lone soldier nut jobs armed with pistols and a shotgun. Had the soldiers at those military bases been properly armed, none of this would have happened.

Government and CNN wants us all to be helpless victims and give up our Constitutional rights. Within a few minutes of the DC shotgun attack, Diane Feinstein was calling for a ban on rifles.
