Thou need na start awa sae hasty,

It hasn’t stopped raining for days here in the permanent drought southwest, and I am starting to see pairs of animals walking towards the boat ramp.

Tom Nelson found this gem at time 18:54

…if you lose the summer sea ice, there are phenomena that could lead you not so very long thereafter to lose the winter sea ice as well. And if you lose that sea ice year round, it’s going to mean drastic climatic change all over the hemisphere.

No Warnings About 9/11 Threats Today

Four weeks after the fake embassy shutdown panic, there are no 9/11 anniversary terror warnings today.

Isn’t that interesting. It is almost like the left hand knows what the right hand is doing.

End The Carnage

Fourteen people have been killed by cars so far this year here in Larimer County, Colorado. That is more than were killed in the Aurora shooting last year. Assault cars need to be banned.

Troopers said the cause of the crash remained under investigation, and were not able to release names or hometowns of those involved in the crash. The woman’s death was the county’s 14th death this year caused by a car crash.

Bloomberg Spent $15 Per Vote In The Colorado Recall Election

Humpty Dumpty sat on a wall,
Humpty Dumpty had a great fall.
All the king’s horses and all the king’s men
Couldn’t put Humpty together again.

Bloomberg spent $350,000 in the Colorado recall elections, and only managed to round up 23,000 votes.

From the moment the recall effort in Colorado began, money started flowing in from out-of-state gun control proponents and influence flowed in from Chicago. It was all part of an effort to protect state senators Angela Giron (D-Pueblo) and John Morse (D-Colo. Springs) from being recalled.

When the gun control measures were passed, and then signed into law by Governor John Hickenlooper (D) on March 20, Coloradans in Giron and Morse’s districts felt hoodwinked. El Paso County Sherrif Terry Maketa said, “The two senators dismissed [their constituents’] opinions, literally said they did not want to hear from them,” thus setting the recall effort in motion.

Bloomberg kept giving money–giving $350,000 as the recall effort hit its home stretch–all in hopes of keeping Giron and Morse in a place where they could support an anti-gun agenda with which he agreed. And Obama’s Organizing For Action (OFA) operatives began showing up in Pueblo to help Giron run her senate office and to help get out the vote.

But it was not enough. And in the end, the raw, grassroots passion of Coloradans trumped the cumulative millions of dollars from people like Bloomberg, as well as the influence of the Democrat machine, and the presence of OFA.

Two Democratic lawmakers in Colorado, including the president of the state senate, were recalled Tuesday in elections brought about by their support for tougher gun control laws.

According to unofficial results, voters in Colorado Springs favored recalling state Sen. John Morse, the body’s president, by 51 percent to 49 percent. With 100 percent of precincts reporting, state Sen. Angela Giron of Pueblo was defeated in her recall election, 56 percent to 44 percent.
