I have shown a lot of data demonstrating that US and Northern Hemisphere temperature trends have been massively tampered with by NOAA and NASA. Their claimed goal was to make it line up better with southern hemisphere data, which supposedly has shown steady warming since the 19th century.

For example, CRU has been able to determine the southern hemisphere temperature to a precision of 0.001 degrees in August, 1850 – based on a single land thermometer in Tasmania.

There have been no forest fires in Colorado this September (or anyplace else in the southwest.) But it wasn’t always like that.  One hundred fifteen years ago this month, a fire burned up the entire northwest quadrant of the state.

On hundred thirteen years ago today, a major hurricane was about to hit Galveston, Texas. The massive storm surge destroyed most of the city and killed 10,000 people.

Galveston is close to my heart. I met my wife in Galveston, my father in law was nearly killed riding his bike there, and the man who introduced me to my wife died shortly thereafter of AIDS in Galveston. It was a horrible way to go, but he was thinking about other people right up to the end.

People who claim hurricanes are getting worse touch a raw nerve with me.
