Dems in Congress are trying to make high-capacity magazines illegal in the US, because the government doesn’t trust Americans with them. Apparently the government does trust Al Qaeda terrorists with them though. The military is buying 1.6 million AK-47 magazines, yet does not use AK-47 rifles.

DENVER (CBS4) – Health officials are continuing to see people being hospitalized with a bad reaction after taking “Spice.”
Police believe a bad batch of Spice is making its way around the Denver metro area and was responsible for sending dozens to the hospital last week. Just over the weekend at least another six people experienced a dangerous reaction to the drug.
“Spice,” “K2? or “Black Mamba” are the names of a drug that is a form of synthetic marijuana. The drug is distributed in little packets. It can be 800 times more potent than THC the chemical in marijuana that makes you high.

Arctic Sea Ice Gone in Summer By 2012?

December 12, 2007An already relentless melting of the Arctic greatly accelerated this summer—a sign that some scientists worry could mean global warming has passed an ominous tipping point.
“The Arctic is screaming,” said Mark Serreze, senior scientist at the government’s snow and ice data center in Boulder, Colorado.
NASA climate scientist Jay Zwally said: “At this rate, the Arctic Ocean could be nearly ice-free at the end of summer by 2012, much faster than previous predictions.”
Now we have located the source of the screaming. It is coming from the Mainstream rowers. They are screaming that the experts have absolutely no idea what they are talking about.
“This has been the coldest season with the most ice since we started Arctic Watch in 2000. Almost no whales. The NWPassage is still blocked with ice. Some of the bays still have not melted!”
One of alarmist’s favorite games is saying that we aren’t allowed to look at Arctic ice until September. So it is now safe to look.
This year has obliterated the record for year over year ice gain, by a factor of two. It is now close to what it was in 2002

The IPCC wants to bury the last 15 years cooling, and instead focus on the long term trend.
I’m happy to play that game. Let’s look at the entire hockey stick – going back to 1850. It indicates 0.7C warming over the past 163 years, which extrapolates to a laughable 0.38C warming for the rest of the century.
Either way, alarmists are completely screwed. The scam is dead and they have it on life-support.
