A year from now there will be a huge increase in the amount of multi-year ice in the western Arctic, and then alarmists are going to be completely screwed.
The Mainstream rowers (blue dashed line below) made it almost one tenth as far as Amundsen (brown line below) through the Northwest Passage.
Of course Amundsen also devoted a huge amount of time to scientific research, exploration and map making.
The rowers gave up before they proved that global warming has melted the Arctic
They really have no reason to quit though, as their vessel is equipped with solar panels which will guide them through the Arctic winter darkness.

In an exclusive interview with CNN that aired Friday, Obama said the United States and United Nations inspectors were gathering information on the attack, but that preliminary signs pointed to a “big event of grave concern.”
“It is very troublesome,” he said. “That starts getting to some core national interests that the United States has, both in terms of us making sure that weapons of mass destruction are not proliferating, as well as needing to protect our allies, our bases in the region.”
Obama is implying that Syria is going to attack the US with mortar shells full of poison gas, so we need to start WWIII in order to protect ourselves from his idiotic psychotic fantasy.

A top Obama administration official says there is “very little doubt” the Syrian government last week used a chemical weapon on civilians, killing at least 100 people.
The announcement came as the Syrian government appeared close to allowing United Nations inspectors to visit the site of the reported attack Wednesday on the outskirts of Damascus.A U.N. spokesperson said Sunday an inspection team is preparing to conduct an on-site fact-finding mission Monday and that Secretary General Ban Ki-moon has instructed the team to make ascertaining the facts “its highest priority.”
The administration official said Sunday that the U.S. intelligence community made the assessment about likely chemical use based on “the reported number of victims, reported symptoms of those who were killed or injured and witness accounts.”

Leaked emails have allegedly proved that the White House gave the green light to a chemical weapons attack in Syria that could be blamed on Assad’s regime and in turn, spur international military action in the devastated country.
A report released on Monday contains an email exchange between two senior officials at British-based contractor Britam Defence where a scheme ‘approved by Washington’ is outlined explaining that Qatar would fund rebel forces in Syria to use chemical weapons.
