The amount of thin, rotten, decayed, bald sea ice on Earth has increased by nearly 33,000 Manhattans since this date last year – almost doubling the previous record for annual ice gain.
Note that the amount of sea ice on Earth has increased during six of the last eight years.
NOAA says that these are the hottest years ever, and that the Arctic will soon be ice-free.

This guy has concluded from the facts that we are in an interglacial and that CO2 has risen, that future generations are going to live in a hellish world – and 657 readers recommended the comment. It takes many years of being beaten intellectually senseless to become this stupid and angry.
Ice melts above the freezing point, regardless of whether temperatures are rising or falling. Twenty thousand years ago, Chicago was buried under a mile of ice and sea level was 350 feet lower. It is safe to assume that ice will continue to melt, until Earth starts the next ice age cycle.
Scott N from Austin believes that CO2 in the air makes it hot. I suggest that he tries turning off the fossil fuels, and heats his home with CO2 next winter.
There has been no change in California sea level during the lifetime of most of its residents.
Josh Willis of NASA says that that sea level will rise two metres the rest of the century.

Temperatures have been cooling this century at a rate which will wipe out all claimed 20th century warming, but the IPCC needs money and they decided to just make up some fake numbers, so that they can continue to steal from taxpayers.
The panel shifted to a wider range for the potential warming, dropping the plausible low end to 2.7 degrees, after a wave of recent studies saying higher estimates were unlikely. But those studies are contested, and scientists at Stockholm are likely to debate whether to stick with that language.

The US Navy is forecasting an increase in extent over the next week. By mid-September, there could be twice as much ice as last year.
In the tropics, water vapor causes 97% of the greenhouse effect. The New York Times has eliminated all water vapor from the atmosphere, and made CO2 the primary greenhouse gas.
