This summer has seen the largest increase in sea ice area on record. August 8 ice area was 1.26 million km² larger than the same date in 2012, beating the old record increase set in 1996.

The unprecedented warming is plainly visible in satellite data – which shows an increase of 0.00 degrees since the start of the year 2000.
But it is worse than it seems. The new century actually began in 2001. Even the UHI afflicted surface data shows a decline this century.

A real scientist would want to know why the Arctic has turned so cold, and why all their predictions have failed so badly.
Instead we see them trying to bury reality for as long as they can get away with it.
