NASA’s Josh Willis Apparently Believes That It Is OK To Lie To The Press

“There is no question that the time to prepare for sea level rise is now… We will definitely see 7 feet of sea level rise — the only question is when,” Josh Willis, a scientist at the NASA Jet Propulsion Laboratory, told FoxNews.com.

Our best estimates of sea level rise in the next 100 years are 3 to 4 feet, but we can’t completely rule out 6 or 7 feet. Such a rise would devastate coastal communities that are unprepared,” Willis said.

States battle surging seas — despite uncertainty among climate scientists | Fox News

The highest IPCC estimate is less than half of that, and the highest measured rates are less than a third of what he is claiming. Who is he speaking for? Him and the mouse in his pocket?

FAQ 5.1 Figure 1 – AR4 WGI Chapter 5: Observations: Oceanic Climate Change and Sea Level

As far as Fox News claim that the seas are surging – that is complete unmitigated nonsense. The west coast of the US has seen no sea level rise for 30 years. Where do these people come up with this crap?

What’s Bothering Them?

The rowers seem to be stalling. Why don’t they just get out there and row through that one hundred mile wide patch of 70-100% concentration ice blocking their path?

Before they left, they told everyone that global warming made their trip possible.

Hansen 2007 : Ice Sheets To Collapse – Sea Level To Rise 25 Metres

JAMES HANSEN: There are two things that are cause of concern. First of all, if we look at the history of the Earth, we know that at the warmest interglacial periods, which were probably less than 1 degree Celsius warmer than today, it was still basically the same planet. Sea level was perhaps a few metres higher. But if we go back to the time when the Earth was two or three degrees Celsius warmer, that’s about three million years ago, sea level was about 25 metres higher, so that tells us we had better keep additional warming less than about one degree. And the other piece of evidence is not from the history of the Earth but from looking at the ice sheets themselves, and what we see is that the disintegration of ice sheets is a wet process and it can proceed quite rapidly. We see that the ice streams have doubled in their speed on Greenland in the last few years and even more concern is west Antarctica because it’s now losing mass at about the same rate as Greenland, and west Antarctica, the ice sheet is sitting on rock that is below sea level. So it is potentially much more in danger of collapsing and so we have both the evidence on the ice sheets and from the history of the Earth and it tells us that we’re pretty close to a tipping point, so we’ve got to be very concerned about the ice sheets.

I Broke the Dam! – Video Clips – South Park Studios

Stan and Cartman broke the beaver dam and nearly destroyed the planet with global warming – and now it is happening for real in Fort Collins.

Ellen Wohl, a geology professor at Colorado State University, has published a paper in the journal Geophysical Research Letters, describing the role beavers play in climate change. In a field study she undertook, she found that carbon is sequestered when beavers build dams and is released after the beavers abandon the dams they’ve built.

Most people are aware that beavers build dams. They’re responsible for river and stream blockage across many parts of North America. What has not been known, until now, is what sort of impact beaver dams and their backed up water have on carbon sequestering.

1996 : Jesse Jackson Was Afraid Of Black People

“There is nothing more painful to me … than to walk down the street and hear footsteps and start thinking about robbery, then look around and see somebody white and feel relieved.”

– Jesse Jackson
