Essentially all global warming forecasts have failed, so climate science has taken a new tack. Data is either ignored, altered or abused in order to keep the theory prophecy alive.
This makes climate science unique, in that raw data is forbidden, and only the output of junk software is permissible as evidence.
One of the corollaries of climate science is that if one person lies about something (like John Cook’s 97%) than it is fair game for everyone (including the President of the US) to repeat the lie with impunity.
In order to celebrate Victoria Day (I work for Canadians) I drove down to Longmont, Colorado to play soccer with a team I used to play with many years ago.

Catherine Engelbrecht of True The Vote joined Governor Mike Huckabee to discuss the harassment and abuse she received from the Obama IRS since she applied for tax exempt status. Her group does not advocate for particular parties or candidates but just for fair elections at all levels. The group obviously is a huge threat to Barack Obama and Democrats.
Engelbrecht reminded Governor Huckabee that in the last 18 months voter fraud cases have been prosecuted in 36 states. Engelbrecht and her organization were harassed by the Obama IRS for months. The Obama IRS wanted to know Facebook posts, tweets and where Catherine intended to speak. That was just one round. Engelbrecht said she was also harassed by the FBI, OSHA and Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, Firearms and Explosives (ATF) who checked her gun safe.

And there’s still a lot more work to be done to make our economy more energy-efficient, to make sure that we’re dealing with serious issues like climate change. When I look at Arthur’s incredible kids and grandkids, I’m thinking, just like I’m thinking about when I see Malia and Sasha — I want to make sure that 30 years from now, 40 years from now, when they’re with their kids and their grandkids, that they’ve got a planet that isn’t in chaos because of decisions that we made or decisions that we failed to make. We’ve got a lot more work to do there.
