Suppose their theory were correct. If the temperatures dropped, then Arctic ice increases and the driver of this scenario reverses. The idea of negative feedbacks seems to be beyond their comprehension.

But the date when barge shipments of grain can again move freely from production areas in the Midwest to export facilities at the Gulf of Mexico may be pushed back as another storm system moved through the region on Tuesday.

WASHINGTON (CNN) — White House press secretary Ari Fleischer accused Sen. Hillary Clinton Friday of working to divide Americans along party lines.
The former first lady responded by saying she is simply “seeking answers and information” about recent revelations that President Bush was alerted prior to September 11 of possible terrorist attacks.
The row between the White House and the Democrat from New York began Thursday when Clinton appeared on the Senate floor and held up a copy of the New York Post with the headline of “Bush Knew.”
WASHINGTON (AP) — In the years before the Boston Marathon bombings, Tamerlan Tsarnaev fell under the influence of a new friend, a Muslim convert who steered the religiously apathetic young man toward a strict strain of Islam, family members said.
Under the tutelage of a friend known to the Tsarnaev family only as Misha, Tamerlan gave up boxing and stopped studying music, his family said. He began opposing the wars in Afghanistan and Iraq. He turned to websites and literature claiming that the CIA was behind the terrorist attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, and Jews controlled the world.
“Somehow, he just took his brain,” said Tamerlan’s uncle, Ruslan Tsarni, who recalled conversations with Tamerlan’s worried father about Misha’s influence. Efforts over several days by The Associated Press to identify and interview Misha have been unsuccessful.
Tamerlan’s relationship with Misha could be a clue in understanding the motives behind his religious transformation and, ultimately, the attack itself. Two U.S. officials say he had no tie to terrorist groups.
That is weird. CNN and MSNBC told us that the bombing was done by angry white Republican NRA militia tea party supporters, not just the usual Islamic terrorists.

Springtime temperatures on the Greenland ice sheet were -53C last night, and autumn temperatures were slightly cooler on the Antarctic ice sheet.
The press is all over this story, of course, like they were last summer when the Greenland ice sheet rose slightly above 0C for a couple of hours.

Climate experts tell us that a sure sign of global warming is the arrival of an early spring.
According to Weather Underground, Fort Collins hit -6.5C this morning, which is the coldest temperature ever recorded this late in the spring. The previous record for the date was in 1931.
