I visited my 83 year old friend last night in Fort Collins, and she pulled out a gun I had never seen before. It is a 17th? century musket in mint condition. This thing would blow somebody’s head right off.

Democrats have been saying that the 2nd Amendment only applies to muskets, but they would try to get them banned too if they actually knew anything about them.

Using their logic, the First Amendment only applies to movable type printing presses, and Obama’s jurisdiction only applies to the thirteen original colonies.

Obama has lots of time for golf, threatening reporters and spreading lies about the sequester, but no time for upholding his oath of office.

“The American people are fed up. We have all of this outrageous activity going on.  And, they’re releasing illegal criminals. Because these are not arrest and release people. These are people who have been held for a reason… No one from the administration has contacted my Homeland Security Division. No one has contacted my office. No one has reached out. And, obviously they don’t know what the heck is going on because they didn’t know anything about it either. Well, who is running this country?

He still hasn’t gotten the electricity turned on in parts of Queens three months after Sandy, and now he wants to make sure that New York has a permanent inadequate supply of electricity.

New York City Mayor Michael Bloomberg said Wednesday that the United States’ coal industry’s days are numbered.

“Even though the coal industry doesn’t totally know it yet or is ready to admit it, its day is done. … Here in the U.S., I’m happy to say, the king is dead. Coal is a dead man walking,” Bloomberg said at the Advanced Research Projects Agency — Energy (ARPA-E) Energy Innovation Summit near Washington, D.C.

He has already deprived New Yorkers of the ability to defend themselves, and now he wants to keep them cold and in the dark.

Huffington Post defines a scientist as anyone who agrees with their political views about global warming. Anyone who disagrees is an evil oil industry funded stooge.

Obama has a wonderful gift of being able to confuse lefties with non sequitur remarks.

When asked why his long time pastor and spiritual mentor is an America hating racist, he responded with

What does Obama’s “typical white” grandmother in Hawaii have to do with the fact that Barack and Michelle Obama chose to have an America hating racist as their pastor in Chicago?

When asked why he chose to launch his political career at a 1960s terrorist’s house, he responded with some crap about how he was in kindergarten at the time of the bombings. No one accused him of taking part in the bombings. They problem is that he chose to politically associate with a terrorist years later.

When deflecting the obvious fact that Obama is a socialist, Obama said

“people say I am a socialist because I shared my sandwich once in elementary school.”

No one said anything about a sandwich. The problem is that his political record shows that he hates capitalism.

It is of course racist to question anything Obama says or does.

1938 HURRICANE
The most powerful hurricane known to have made landfall nearby — a category 3 hurricane — occurred in 1938. Its eye crossed over Long Island and into New England, killing nearly 200 people. The storm killed 10 people in New York City and caused millions of dollars in damage. Its floods knocked out electrical power in all areas above 59th Street in Manhattan and in all of the Bronx, the new IND subway line lost power, and 100 large trees in Central Park were destroyed.

Fortunately, New York City experienced the weaker “left side” of the 1938 hurricane — the City was 75 miles from the eye when it passed over Long Island. The hurricane could have caused far more deaths and damage if it passed closer to the five boroughs.
