Obama has a wonderful gift of being able to confuse lefties with non sequitur remarks.

When asked why his long time pastor and spiritual mentor is an America hating racist, he responded with

“I could no more disown him than my white grandmother”

What does Obama’s “typical white” grandmother in Hawaii have to do with the fact that Barack and Michelle Obama chose to have an America hating racist as their pastor in Chicago?

When asked why he chose to launch his political career at a 1960s terrorist’s house, he responded with some crap about how he was in kindergarten at the time of the bombings. No one accused him of taking part in the bombings. They problem is that he chose to politically associate with a terrorist years later.

When deflecting the obvious fact that Obama is a socialist, Obama said

“people say I am a socialist because I shared my sandwich once in elementary school.”

No one said anything about a sandwich. The problem is that his political record shows that he hates capitalism.

It is of course racist to question anything Obama says or does.

1938 HURRICANE
The most powerful hurricane known to have made landfall nearby — a category 3 hurricane — occurred in 1938. Its eye crossed over Long Island and into New England, killing nearly 200 people. The storm killed 10 people in New York City and caused millions of dollars in damage. Its floods knocked out electrical power in all areas above 59th Street in Manhattan and in all of the Bronx, the new IND subway line lost power, and 100 large trees in Central Park were destroyed.

Fortunately, New York City experienced the weaker “left side” of the 1938 hurricane — the City was 75 miles from the eye when it passed over Long Island. The hurricane could have caused far more deaths and damage if it passed closer to the five boroughs.

Vice President Joe Biden told Field & Stream magazine in an interview published Monday, “[if] you want to keep someone away from your house, just fire the shotgun through the door.”

Coincidentally, a 22-year-old man in Virginia Beach, Va., was charged Monday with reckless handling of a firearm after doing just that a couple days earlier.  Local TV station WAVY 10 reports that the man observed two masked men leaning into his bedroom window.

The men allegedly had weapons and told him to close his bedroom door. He stepped outside of his bedroom and did as instructed, then fired his shotgun through the closed door and then several more times at the window.

Michael Mann, professor of climate science at Penn State University, said the effect of the 11-year solar cycle on the global temperature is small.  “Studies that have looked at the longer-term impact of a potential 21st century grand solar minimum have found that the [temperature] response would be dwarfed by anthropogenic [manmade] warming [from the build-up of greenhouse gas concentrations],” Mann said.
