The rules of the game need to change. Ever since 9/11/2001 we have been bullied by the White House into permanent war, spending insane amounts of money and giving up our freedoms one by one – through Ponzi schemes of fear.
Obama has ramped this up to the point where he has a new emergency every week which demands another trillion dollars, another executive order, and another Bill of Rights amendment to be sacrificed.
Boehner has the opportunity to force the rules to change, and finally start a serious dialogue – where the American people make the rules, not the White House. If he chickens out again, Obama will know that he can do whatever he wants.
If Boehner holds the line, he will force Obama to either get immediately serious about spending, or take the blame. He will show the American people that there is hope, and he will win back some respect. He will force the media to quit worshiping Obama.
The Democrats used the same war of fear against Reagan when he fired the air traffic controllers, which turned out to be one of the best things he did as President.
All we needed to prevent 9/11 – was to have not taken away the right of pilots to carry guns. Gun free zones allowed 19 people with box cutters to generate endless havoc.
