Playing Make Believe

A friend of mine was on the 1980 US Olympic team (which did not compete thanks to Jimmy Carter.) She says that all the sprinters (including Carl Lewis) used cocaine, and that all the athletes knew it. They couldn’t run that fast without it.

Football and baseball players are 50% larger than they were 40 years ago, but I am sure that it has nothing to do with steroids.

Nothing to see here, move along.

What Happened To The Thick Ice In The Arctic?

There is a lot less thick ice in the Arctic than there was in 1979. Alarmists mindlessly spew that it melted in the summer sun, but that is incorrect.

Most multi-year sea ice is lost during the winter, not the summer. Strong winter winds blow it out into the North Atlantic, where it quickly melts. Most of the thick ice was lost during the winters between 1988 and 1996, due to unusual winds.

This coincided with a period of high ENSO.

How Charles packed his prize pigs off to Italy… and they came back as ham costing £80 per lb

Prince Charles has sent two of his rare breed pigs to Italy to be turned into some of the finest ham known to man, cured in a medieval cellar with the help of the fog from a nearby river.

Is Mark Serreze A Young Earth Creationist?

The North Pole has become an island for the first time in human history.

But to climate change scientists it is yet another sign of the damage global warming is inflicting on the planet.

Mark Serreze, a sea ice specialist, described the images as an ‘historic event’ – but warned they added to fears that the Arctic icecap has entered a ‘death spiral’.

The North Pole becomes an ‘island’ for the first time in history as ice melts | Mail Online

Apparently human history is less than 15,000 years.

“Examination of several proxy records (e.g., sediment cores) of sea ice indicate ice-free or near ice-free summer conditions for at least some time during the period of 15,000 to 5,000 years ago”

– Walt Meier NSIDC

Polar Bears can’t survive without ice, and that is why they have been extinct for 5,000 years.

July 1901 – Hottest Month In US History

NOAA claims that July 2012 was the hottest month in US history, but that is because they tamper with the data. It was the fourth hottest July, after 1901, 1936, and 1934.
