In less than four weeks since President Obama proposed sweeping new gun control laws and a ban on assault-style weapons, the backlash from law enforcement groups that strongly support the Second Amendment has surged and now there are 10 state sheriffs associations opposed to the president.

The Illinois Sheriffs Association became the last to join the growing crowd of police opposed to Obama, arguing this week that the president should instead be focused on mental health, not gun hardware.

Obama and Feinstein are determined to turn tens of millions of honest Americans into felons, towards their worthy goal of giving criminals free reign across America.

Unfortunately for Obama, the red counties contain smart, strong people. He isn’t used to dealing with people like that.

My friend Anne passed away today, as a result of some mistakes she made three decades ago. She started with marijuana, then got addicted to cocaine – after using it once. This lead to a contaminated needle, hepatitis C – and some incompetent medical workers finally finished her off. She was much too young.

Our democracy has been hacked by this expansion of corporate power, preventing meaningful action on several crucial issues. The climate crisis is an instructive example. The potential consequences of climate change have never been clearer than they are today. Consider what we saw in America just last year. 2012 was the hottest year in American history and 60% of America experienced drought. Extreme weather events, like Superstorm Sandy, caused over $110 billion of damages. Yet Congress remains paralyzed, with many lawmakers even refusing to acknowledge the validity of climate science. The future of our planet demands that we put the sustainability of our planet before corporate profit.

In other words, Boxer is trying to steal $12,000 from every family in America. Why aren’t these people being prosecuted for fraud, racketeering and extortion?

Disclaimer : I have no reason to believe that any of USHCN’s adjustments are legitimate. This image just shows how they have increased the amount of TOBS cheating they are doing between V1 and V2.

Up until 1950, V1 (black) and V2 (green) matched closely. In 1950, V2 took a step up – and again in 1990 V2 took a big step up. According to USHCN docs, TOBS did not change between V1 and V2, so something is clearly rotten in Denmark.

By 1999, the V2 TOBS adjustment was nearly double the V1 version, and going up exponentially. The USHCN adjustments were supposed to flat line after 1990, but they have done the exact opposite.

The animation below shows how USHCN has turned a cooling trend into a warming trend, all through the magic of several steps of data tampering.

I just noticed a huge USHCN screw up. This is from the USHCN2 docs.

They say that the USHCN2 TOBS is about the same as the USHCN1 TOBS.

USHCN1 shows a 0.3 Fahrenheit increase in the TOBS adjustment from 1920 to 2000, but USHCN2 shows 0.3 Celsius increase in TOBS from 1920 to 2000.

Looks like they nearly doubled their adjustments, by not understanding the difference between Fahrenheit and Celsius. Either that or they were hoping to slip a huge cheat in under the radar. (I’ve looked at the data more closely now, and it is not a C v F discrepancy. The problem is that there are two upwards shifts in the USHCN2 data – one in 1950 and another in 1990. I will document this soon.)

The purpose of the Berlin Wall was to keep citizens from fleeing communism. That may become the purpose of INS during the next four years.

The US struggled for 60 years to free the world from communism – so they came over here and took over the Democratic party.

I recently ran across Police Chief Mark Kessler of the Gilberton Borough Police Department in Pennsylvania. He wants citizens to join with his police department in building a “reserve force” that will aid his police force should the need arise to resist Federal authorities when it comes to the Second Amendment.

The reserve force will be made up of volunteers, they can be past or current police officers with act 120 training, along with non law enforcement personnel interested in joining the reserve force. All non law enforcement personnel won’t have any powers to arrest, but will be required to go through a background check, supply their own duty gear, uniform (military BDU, etc), weapons, ammunition. Everyone will be required to attend a firearms certification course to qualify with both long gun and hand gun at a rate set by the firearm instructor. There will also be hand to hand combat training, knife fighting training, urban combat training, sniper courses, search and rescue etc. The reserve force would only be called upon in the event of a Federal invasion or foreign invasion of the jurisdiction.
