It only makes sense that ice would melt when the temperature is -30C.
World beating stupidity on display here. Corals evolved when CO2 was 10-20 times higher than it is now. They flourished when temperatures were 10C warmer. They flourished during ice ages.
Expanding tropics would mean that the geographical range of corals would expand. Ancient coral reefs are hundreds or thousands of feet thick – like these ones in the desert of West Texas.
Corals can survive huge changes in sea level, CO2 concentrations and climate. They can even survive thermonuclear explosions, but the idiots at “Forecast the facts think that a couple hundred ppm of CO2 is going to wipe them out.
Coral is again flourishing in the crater left by the largest nuclear weapon ever detonated by the United States, 54 years after the blast on Bikini Atoll, marine scientists reported Tuesday.
A team of research divers visited Bravo crater — ground zero for the test of a thermonuclear weapon in the remote Marshall Islands on March 1, 1954 — and found large numbers of fish and coral growing, although some species appeared locally extinct.
“I didn’t know what to expect, some kind of moonscape perhaps. The White House lied about Benghazi, and anyone trying to get to the truth is a terrorist.
Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, while lamenting the partisanship of congressional Republicans who grilled her about the Benghazi attack, encouraged Republicans not to imitate the unwillingness to compromise evinced by terrorists in North Africa.
Compromise means accepting her lies.
“It has been increasingly partisan,” Clinton said today at the Newseum when asked to comment on the questioning she faced from Republicans last week. “You can be partisan, you can have a strong sense of the rightness of your position, but democracy and certainly legislative bodies require compromise. And you can’t let compromise become a dirty word because then you veer toward fanaticism.”
Fanaticism means not accepting her lies.
“I mean, we were just talking about extremists who think it’s only their way, they are the ones who have the truth, none of the rest of us have any kind of claim on what is real in their views,” she continued. “And so it’s important in our democracies – like Australia, like the United States – that yes, be passionate, be intense about your feelings, but at the end of the day you’ve got to serve the people who sent you there, and that requires compromise.”
Extremism means not accepting her lies.
The “extremists” Clinton had just been discussing included those that carried out the terrorist attack on the U.S. mission in Benghazi, resulting in the deaths of the U.S. Ambassador to Libya and three other Americans.

A joint military operation targeted the home of an assault rifle owner in Yourcity today. The rifle, ammunition, high capacity magazines, computers and the potential terrorist were removed from the premises and taken to an undisclosed location. A handgun was also discovered and was taken away to the FBI crime labs for analysis. What is really frightening is that the perpetrator had no previous record of criminal activity, so a background check would not have stopped him from obtaining weapons.
America is a safer place this evening.
The EIA’s chart also shows how limited President Obama’s ability to deal with climate change really is. The reality is that the vast majority of the carbon emissions to come will be emitted by developing nations like China—and much of that will be due to coal. As we’ve reported here, the U.S. has reduced coal use and cut carbon emissions in recent year, even in the absence of comprehensive climate legislation, thanks to tougher air pollution regulations and cheap natural gas from fracking. Yet even as coal has waned in the U.S., it’s still being burned by the gigaton in other countries. We won’t beat climate change until we’ve beaten coal, but I’m not sure there’s much the United States can do to convince China or India to quit cheap energy—no matter the cost.

With military helicopters flying above her southeast Houston neighborhood, Frances Jerrals didn’t know what to think.
“When you see this, you think the worst. When you hear this, you think the worst,” Jerrals said.
And so, she passed along her concern.
“She told me ‘don’t come home it sounds like we’re in a war zone. Guns, shooting, helicopters flying around the house,'” Isaac Robertson Jr. said.
The U.S. Army along with other agencies took over the old Carnegie Vanguard High School near Scott and Airport. There were armed men in fatigues, plenty of weapons and what many thought were real live rounds
“I felt like I was in a warzone.” Jerrals said. “It was nonstop. I was terrified.”
This is what Obama said when running for President.
“I believe in the Second Amendment. I will not take your shotgun away. I will not take your rifle away. I won’t take your handgun away… But I am not going to take your guns away. So if you want to find an excuse not to vote for me, don’t use that one because it just ain’t true. It ain’t true.”
What he meant was that he was going to have the Army do it for him.
