Barack Obama may intervene directly on climate change by hosting a summit at the White House early in his second term, environmental groups say.

They say the White House has given encouraging signals to a proposal for Obama to use the broad-based and bipartisan summit to launch a national climate action strategy.

NOAA claims that Texas had its hottest year ever last year.

Yet their own data shows that 2012 didn’t even rank among the ten hottest years in Texas. 1921 was more than a degree warmer than 2012 in Texas.

NOAA accomplished this by massively tampering with the data, subtracting from older temperatures and adding to recent ones.

NOAA has turned a strong measured cooling trend in Texas, into a warming trend. It is a total fraud, which defies comprehension by rational human beings.

We are from the government, and we are here to frighten you and steal your money.

Here near the Colorado-Wyoming border, just about everyone owns guns.

We don’t have any shootouts, except for the occasional murder committed by the police department, and covered up by the district attorney.  We have very little crime, other than bicycles being stolen on the CSU campus and drunk and disorderly college students.

I do worry about being hit by cars on my bicycle (it has happened several times) – but the the thought of being shot has never occurred to me.

Imbecile lefties take statistics from gun-free cities dominated by minority gangs with illegal weapons, and mindlessly transpose that on to law abiding citizens who live in an entirely different world.

(Before any Brits take the opportunity to look ridiculous, I will remind them that our crime rate in Fort Collins is less than one sixth of that in the UK.)

When the US has a cold winter, it is just weather.

The fraudsters at NOAA are making hay with claims that 2012 was the hottest year ever, while global temperatures continue to slide. December was the 17th coldest in the RSS satellite record.
