The left understands that there is no shortage of corrupt academics who will produce any result they need for their political goals. When the facts work against their political goals, they simply get some university professor to produce a fraudulent study.

A recent example was Diane Feinstein. The FBI says that violent crime and murders are down in the US since the “assault weapon” ban was lifted in 2004, but that didn’t suit her agenda – so she simply quoted some garbage academic studies which said otherwise.

Another recent example is the junk science about rapid Antarctic warming – which spread like wildfire through the communist news network.

And of course there is Mikey Mann’s hockey stick.

Like their predecessors at Soviet Pravda, the US press corpse won’t talk much about news events which differ from the official Democratic Party line. The last two winters have seen record cold and snow in much of the Northern Hemisphere, and the story goes almost completely unreported in the US. Washington understands that the ignorant American public can’t be trusted with facts.

In the Far East region of Magadan, 300 kilometers of roads remain blocked by heavy snow. Plows and machines can not reach those roads to clear them. In some places, snow is as much as five meters deep.

The UK had almost no snow and very warm winter temperatures from 1902 through 1906, and again from 1970 to 1976 – culminating in a very severe drought.

In April, the government warned that the UK faced a record drought.

Half of Britain is now in drought as the country faces its most severe water shortage since 1976, the Environment Agency warns today. More than 35?million people are now living in drought-affected areas, with water shortages today declared across the Midlands and South West. Parts of the country are already drier than they were in the summer of 1976, when Britain experienced its worst drought for more than 100 years. The drought of 1976 led to standpipes being installed in residential streets, water supplies to businesses being rationed and schools having to close early.

Maricopa County Sheriff Joe Arpaio wants to use his posse. Pinal County Sheriff Paul Babeu wants to arm willing principals.

Sheriff Arpaio said his plan is similar to the posse he started in 1993 to patrol area malls. Arpaio said his posse members have more than 100 hours of firearms training and will probably carry Glock handguns.

Arpaio also said they will wear similar uniforms and drive similar cars as full fledged deputies so the bad guys can’t tell the difference. “These aren’t just regular citizens playing with guns at schools,” said Arpaio. He plans to start his program next week.

Sheriff Babeu said we have created “sitting duck zones” at schools and said training and arming principals who are willing is the best way to help protect students and teachers. “Why not use these people we trust if they are willing to protect themselves and our children?” he said.

Sheriff Babeu said he does not think limiting gun ownership or automatic weapons is the answer.

My sister went to Yale, where you can’t step off campus without getting attacked. I went to ASU and partied with gorgeous women in bikinis. People in Connecticut think they are so much smarter than people in Arizona.

Since the dawn of evolutionary time, all mammalian parents have understood that their children are at risk from predators, often from their own species. A good parent provides their children with the defense they need.

What kind of foolish parent would intentionally place their child in a place where they have no protection, and then advertise that have no defense against predators?
