Alta Ski Area | MOUNTAIN REPORT

Last week, NRDC reported that Utah skiing is doomed from global warming.

The ocean is not acidic, and atmospheric CO2 was much higher during the vast majority of time when Oysters existed on Earth. McKibben is completely out of control.

If there was one armed person in Sandy Hook Elementary School, the massacre never would have happened. Shooters invariably target gun-free zones. You simply can not pull out a gun in a place where other people are armed.

The obvious solution is to have no gun-free zones, but leftists will of course do the exact opposite of common sense.

Reported sexual assaults have increased by 51 percent since 1995, at an average of four percent each year.

Gun debate at tipping point

There is every indication that mental illness was the cause of the tragedy. Sane people don’t massacre children – or make insane comments like the one above.

“If you’ve got a gun in your house, I’m not taking it,’’ Obama said.  Can everyone hear me in the back? I see a couple of sportsmen back there. I’m not going to take away your guns.’’

Dear PSD Parents,

Given the recent school violence in Connecticut and extensive media coverage of the Mayan calendar and doomsday prophecies, Poudre School District will be enacting additional safety protocols at all schools this week. Additional safety precautions include:

• ·         All exterior doors will be locked except for the main entrance
• ·         Any student not accompanied by a PSD staff member must enter school through the main entrance
• ·         Main entrances will be physically monitored by school staff during the school day
• ·         Additional security presence on campuses and at after-hours programs/activities as needed
• ·         All emergency drills have been cancelled
• ·         Additional mental health support for students will be available as needed

PSD is committed to ensuring that all students continue to remain safe in our schools. If your child is struggling emotionally with Friday’s tragedy, please have your student talk to his/her teacher and/or counselor.

We understand that this is a challenging time for our community and nation. Thank you for your continued support of Poudre School District.

Warmest regards,

Nancy Wright, Ed.D.
Superintendent

It is now almost impossible to purchase a firearm, because the Feds have quit processing background checks. The queue in Colorado is 1,500 deep and wait time is listed as 21 hours. Last weekend it was three people and five minutes.

Obama can shut down firearm sales any time he wants – through abuse of the regulatory process.

Obama says that you have been naughty – for having free will, being successful and for emitting CO2. He wants  :

1. Your money
2. Your guns
3. Your car
4. Your freedom
5. Your health insurance
6. Control of your thermostat
7. Your Constitution
8. You to shut up
9. Control of your Internet
10. You to stop asking questions
11. You to behave like a mindless sheep
