Twelve years ago, leading Met Office climate scientists explained that this is just a virtual cold.

Snowfalls are now just a thing of the past

20 MARCH 2000

David Parker, at the Hadley Centre for Climate Prediction and Research in Berkshire, says ultimately, British children could have only virtual experience of snow. Via the internet, they might wonder at polar scenes – or eventually “feel” virtual cold.

Carbon Taxes In California Pay Immediate Retroactive Benefits

A string of strong Pacific Storms is continuing to hit Northern California. Mount Shasta’s projected snowfall may make a run for the world record.

Combined over the next several days will be anywhere from 176 – 218 inches of snow! This is a lot of snow, with the record being 189 inches in six days. Can you guess where?

If you guessed Mount Shasta then you are correct as this area received 189 inches of snow in six days in February 1959. The National Climatic Data Center says California’s heaviest four-day snowstorm was 145 inches at the Sierra-at-Tahoe Ski Resort near Echo Summit in March-April 1982. The U.S. four-day snow record is 163 inches at Thompson Pass, Alaska, in December 1955.

This is an excellent example of how local action has retroactively reversed global warming back to the year 1997.

California Ski Industry Association Works to Curb Global Warming

In addition to supporting measures promoted by the NSAA, the California Ski Industry Association has itself become a leader in finding a solution to the problem of climate change. In 2001 the CSIA was one of the first industry groups to endorse AB 1058, the legislation targeting emission controls on new vehicles, specifically SUVs, sold in California. Most recently, the CSIA was among the first industry representatives to publicly support California Assembly Bill 32 or the Global Warming Solutions Act of 2006. AB 32 requires that California reduce its statewide greenhouse gas emissions to 1990 emission levels by 2020, and provides market-based approaches to achieve this goal. In the absence of any federal measures to reduce polluting emissions, it has become imperative for states to take independent action. AB 32 was signed into law by Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger on September 27, 2006, making California the first state to mandate economy-wide emissions reductions. Delighted with the success of AB 32, the CSIA continues to support sound measures to defeat global warming.

Sadly, unemployment in California is double digits due to excessive taxes, and many people can’t afford to go skiing.

In the El Centro metropolitan area, the unemployment rate for October was 28.1 percent

Verifying John Daly’s Data Capture

John Daly captured this version of GISS US temperatures in 1999 or 2000, which I have used as a basis to show that Hansen has massively altered temperature data.

http://www.john-daly.com/usatemps.006

NASA has of course deleted the old data from their site, so how do we know that John Daly’s data is correct? Simple, I overlaid John Daly’s data from 2000 (blue below) on a graph Hansen published in 1999.

http://www.giss.nasa.gov/research/briefs/hansen_07/fig1x.gif

Hansen alters the data constantly, but it is a pretty close match. He has turned an 80 year cooling trend into a warming trend. The gun is smoking.

Google News Turns On The Messiah

Check out the lead story on Google News.

Google News

I predicted during the campaign the the MSM would turn on Obama after the election. He has made a complete mess and can’t hide behind Romney’s tax returns any more.

His three week $4 million vacation in Hawaii will attract the press sharks. They have no one else to go after any more. They will rip him to shreds over the next few years, because he is spectacularly incompetent and dishonest.

Biggest case of buyer’s remorse in history.

A Goverment Of Whiners

The climate (and life in general) were much more difficult during the 1930s. The government has to stop lying about this.

Read the list below to get a small feel of how pathetic the lies coming from government agencies are.

BBC Confirms That Polar Melt Has Almost No Effect On Sea Level

This is front page news at the BBC.

Melting of polar ice sheets has added 11mm to global sea levels over the past two decades, according to the most definitive assessment so far.

BBC News – Sea-level rise from polar ice melt finally quantified

Scary stuff – two inches of sea level rise over the next 100 years. For reference. sometimes the incoming tide changes sea level forty inches in less than one second in the Bristol Channel.

Summer Of 2012 Was 18th Hottest In US History

NCDC says that this past summer was the hottest in US history, but the raw data shows that afternoon temperatures were 18th hottest since 1895, and that temperatures have been declining since the 1920s. The summer of 1936 had maximum temperatures almost two degrees warmer than the summer of 2012. The ten hottest summers all came with CO2 below 350 PPM.

NCDC knows that they can manipulate the data any way they want, and as long as they stamp an official looking government logo on their data – the sheeple will believe them.

How The Climate Scumbags Operate : Part 1

Part 1 : Pick a recent start date for analyzing a trend, and then blame it on CO2.

Ice loss in Greenland since 1960 – interactive | Environment | guardian.co.uk

Part 2 : Ignore critical information from prior to your start date :

May 6, 1940

By far the largest number of local glaciers in northeast Greenland had receded very greatly during recent decades, and it would not be exaggerating to say that these glaciers were nearing a catastrophe.

06 May 1940 – Greenland’s Climate Becoming Milder

Dr. Stenberger, with the members of theNoerlund. expedition, unearthed the remains of a Scandinavian community that flourished 1000 years ago under the mighty Icelandic chieftain Erik the Red, and consisting of-about 3000 souls, famed in the Viking tales, but mysteriously obliterated and lost some 400 years later. Brattahlid, the Viking seat of Erik the Red, proved to have been a big farm with 40 cows. Dr. Stenberger also explained the -probable origin of the name of Greenland. The climate of the. southwestern part of that territory in medieval times clearly was milder than now, and Erjk the Red; who- came from the forbidding and icy regions of Northern Iceland, was met by the ‘sight of a smiling bay with green shores, and hence gave the new land, the name which to-day seems strangely inappropriate.

Who Are The Deniers?

I can only speak for myself, but I am not any of the things deniers are claimed to be.

  1. I have no financial interest in fossil fuels or any other form of energy.
  2. I have no direct financial interest in fighting the global warming scam, other than a general interest in a healthy economy with low prices and taxes.
  3. I don’t like cars – I do 90+% of my travelling time on a bicycle and would be thrilled to see fewer cars on the road.
  4. I don’t like or belong to any organized religion.
  5. I always eat vegan if I have choice.
  6. I spent much of my life as an active environmentalist and have worked as a wilderness ranger.
  7. I think that wasting natural resources is a crime.
  8. I have science and engineering degrees and have worked as a scientist/engineer for nearly 40 years.

So why do I do this? After three decades of buying into this scam, I finally looked at the data for myself. Then I realized that the scientific foundations are extremely shaky at best, and that the people behind this are a collection of criminals, socialists, power grabbers, useful idiots, and other general scumbags.

I do this because these people are destroying science and integrity with their lies.  I do this, because I am blowing the whistle.

Weights And Measures Quiz

A lot of people on the other side of this debate seem to have difficulty with scale (Greenland melting in four days etc.) probably because they have been telling people for their entire adult life that three inches is actually six inches.

I put together a quiz to help out. Order these from left to right. Some are in metric units and some are English.

.762×39  .762×54  .545 .22LR .556 0.50 .22HMR

Bonus question. What is .223 inches in centimetres?
