The US government has cleverly placed every child in America over $100,000 in debt. This has been accomplished through Lyndon Johnson’s Great Society, which paid poor women to have lots of Democratic voting babies which would immediately go on the government dole and stay there for their entire lives.

The solution is simple. Just pass ObamaFiscalcare, and require those kids to pay the $100,000 back by Christmas or face new taxes penalties.

There had been warnings. In 2009, the New York City Panel on Climate Change issued a prophetic report.

In 1821, a major hurricane hit New York at low tide, and the storm surge split Manhattan in half. Had that storm hit at high tide, lower Manhattan would have been wiped off the map.

In 1821, stunned colonial New Yorkers recorded sea levels rising as fast as 13 feet in a single hour at the Battery. Climate experts say that Alaska is the canary in the coal mine, and that it is the fastest warming place on Earth.

On average Alaska has warmed by about 4 degrees Fahrenheit over the last 150 years. There are widespread consequences such as melting glaciers and insect-devastated forest in response to this temerature change. Scientists say Alaska is like a canary in a coal mine, foreshadowing the types of changes we can expect for the rest of the world.

Disappearing sea ice is one reason the Arctic is warming more than lower latitudes, because white Arctic ice normally reflects the sun’s heat into space, whereas dark, open water absorbs heat.

Only problem is that people who actually look at thermometers say the exact opposite.

The First Decade of the New Century: A Cooling Trend for Most of Alaska

We looked at the temperature trend of the first decade of the 21st century for the 20 first order stations in Alaska and found that 19 of the 20 stations showed a cooling trend.

The University of Alaska says that temperatures in Alaska have declined 0.3C since 1977, and that five of the last six years have been below normal.

That is a easy call for anyone with an IQ over 10.

Mann plotted a thousand years of proxy data as reliable, and then threw out the post-1960 proxy data – because they didn’t show the warming he was out to prove.

The proxies showed exactly what thermometers did at the time – before Hansen altered the thermometer data.

In 1999, GISS US temperatures showed no warming.

The graph below compares 2012 GHCN HCN daily temperature anomalies from 1895-1999 to the GISS US temperatures 1999 version. The correlation was pretty good.

The next graph shows the same 1895-1999 data, except that it uses 2012 GISS US temperatures, instead of the 1999 version. Note that after adjustments, recent GISS US temperatures have almost no correlation with thermometers. The pattern is now a random shotgun blast, indicating that current GISS is a complete fraud.

10-Day Temperature Outlook

I was listening to Colorado Public Radio yesterday, and they were singing the praises of Big Tobacco for preparing high volume Marijuana distribution in Colorado.

Perhaps a warming climate and increased CO2 would make their weed grow faster,  extend the growing season, and increase its potency.

Music was better when CO2 was below 350 ppm
