Katherine Hayhoe Awarded The Nobel Prize For Environmental Evangelism

Katharine Hayhoe is an evangelical environmentalist who has experienced her share of opposition. A Nobel Prize winning atmospheric scientist who co-authored “A Climate for Change” with her preacher husband Andrew Farley, Ms. Hayhoe found, to her dismay, that Newt Gingrich cut her chapter on climate change from his book without advance notice.

Traditional young earth creationists believe that the earth was formed 6,000 years ago, but Katherine believes that time began in 1970.

My Presidential Forecast

I predict that Romney will win Texas, Wyoming and Utah and Obama will win California and New York. This is based on sophisticated super-computer modeling written in Fortran and Ada by crack government scientists.

Alternative Interpretation Of Hurricane Sandy

Yesterday I posted the highly enlightened theory that Sandy was sent to punish Romney for ridiculing Obama’s messianic abilities.

An alternative theory holds that Sandy was sent to punish Obama for claiming that he had messianic abilities.

Indeed we live in wondrous and enlightened times, in which the authorities can predict and control the weather through prophecy and sacrifice.

IPCC Halloween Haunted House

Greenpeace and WWF scientists hacks working for the IPCC have determined in advance that the next IPCC report will be a veritable house of horrors.

THE next United Nations climate report will ”scare the wits out of everyone” and should provide the impetus needed for the world to finally sign an agreement to tackle global warming, the former head of the UN negotiations said.

Yvo de Boer, the UN climate chief during the 2009 Copenhagen climate change talks, said his conversations with scientists working on the next report of the Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change suggested the findings would be shocking.

“That report is going to scare the wits out of everyone,” Mr de Boer said in the only scheduled interview of his visit to Australia. “I’m confident those scientific findings will create new political momentum.”

The IPCC’s fifth assessment report is due to be published in late 2013 and early 2014.

Former UN official says climate report will shock nations into action

All that’s left to do is dredge up some junk science to match the story.

Memories Of The 1938 Hurricane

I called up my mother last night to find out how my grandmother in Far Rockaway is doing. It tuns out that she moved two weeks ago to assisted living in New Jersey, and we have no word about the condition of the house.

She then told me her memories of the 1938 hurricane. She remembered looking out the window of her third floor apartment in Brooklyn, seeing the wind bending the trees over to the ground, and being very scared. She also remembered very heavy rain.

That major hurricane killed nearly a thousand people.

Berkeley Linguistics Professor : “Global warming systemically caused Hurricane Sandy”

The record low fire and major hurricane count has apparently convinced this linguistics professor that fires and hurricanes are on the rise.

Yes, global warming systemically caused Hurricane Sandy — and the Midwest droughts and the fires in Colorado and Texas, as well as other extreme weather disasters around the world. Let’s say it out loud, it was causation, systemic causation.
