You can’t make this stuff up. There is yet another USHCN cheat going on with the raw data – which I just discovered.
The graph above plots USHCN 2.0 daily minus GHCN HCN daily data. They are supposed to be identical raw data sets, but USHCN 2.0 is doing something to cool the past and warm the present. This occurs before the USHCN 2.5 raw data cheat which I reported earlier today.
These people are corrupting the trend upwards at every step of the process.
Another big NOAA lie is that July, 2012 was hottest on record in the US. The GHCN HCN daily data set (which is supposed to match the USHCN daily data set) shows that 2012 was fourth hottest, after 1901, 1936 and 1934.

There is no trend in US July temperatures since 1895.

The liar in chief spent two weeks blaming his failure in Libya on YouTube, and went so far as to attempt to censor YouTube. Now it turns out that there were ground and drone films of the attack.

Colorado is divided into two demographics. Most of the state (geographically speaking) is sane Republican territory. By contrast the Democratic areas (Denver, Boulder, etc.) are occupied by the highest density of whack jobs in the US.
Colorado is considered a toss-up in the election, but if only sane regions were allowed to vote, the election wouldn’t even be close.

Scientists have been all over the press corpse with stories of Arctic ice melt and doom, while the actual Arctic has gained 750,000 km² of ice during the past week. That is more new ice than the area of France.
Ice growth will likely accelerate even more during the next week.
USHCN has been having to cheat harder and harder every month to create the false impression that the US is warming.

They announced last week a new USHCN 2.5 version, which I predicted would introduce a new cheat.
USHCN deleted their monthly data last week, and apparently are making a transition from version 2.0 to 2.5. My guess about this surprise move is that they are going to make past “raw” data colder, and current “raw” data warmer. This will make their massive adjustments appear smaller.
It will be easy enough to test this, as I have local copies of their old raw data, and will be able to do a direct comparison.
They put the USHCN 2.5 data out yesterday, and cheated exactly as I expected – with recent raw temperatures bumped way up, and older temperatures lowered. This is calculated as the yearly average of all “raw average monthly” temperature data for all USHCN stations during all months. I assume a Monte Carlo distribution for missing data.

But it is worse than it seems. There is an additional hidden cheat, because the monthly data is also adjusted upwards from the daily data – which shows a long-term cooling trend in the US.
Even after UHI effects, the US is cooling since 1895.
