Huge amounts of traffic are coming to the site from Internet searches for “debate results.” I hope they are pleased with what they find.   ROFLMAO.

The movie “2012” started with the family camping in Yellowstone in December in shirtsleeves – with mosquitoes swarming.

Climate change must be worse than it seems, because single digit temperatures are forecast for Yellowstone on Saturday.

Presidential loser 2000 says that presidential loser 2012 was hurt by the altitude in Denver, which gave Romney an unfair advantage. This makes sense, because Romney’s home in Belmont, MA  is at 41 feet elevation – so he is used to high altitude.

Professional sports teams travelling to Denver are also very disadvantaged. We know this because all of the Denver sports teams suck, and none have a winning record.

DENVER — A day after his subdued debate performance, President Obama delivered a feistier critique of Republican nominee Mitt Romney, telling 12,000 supporters on Thursday that his rival had misrepresented his positions because “he does not want to be held accountable.”

Earth to Hussein – you have been the president the last four years, not Romney.

Obama said the “very spirited fellow who claimed to be Mitt Romney” onstage at the University of Denver was an imposter who suddenly was dancing “around his positions” on tax cuts, education and outsourcing.

A more apt description would be that America got to see the real Obama,without a teleprompter.

Obama needs to show a few sales of Chevy Volts, so has ordered the Pentagon to steal money from your children and buy lots of worthless, overpriced golf carts.

Electric vehicles are becoming a more common sight on military bases as the Department of Defense adds “road-capable” electric cars such as the Chevy Volt to a fleet of thousands of smaller battery-powered vehicles.

Last month, the first two Chevy Volts arrived at Marine Corps Air Station Miramar, Calif., where they will be used as nontactical government vehicles. Eighteen Volts are about to hit the roads at Joint Base Andrews, Md., Marine Corps and Air Force officials said.

The moves are part of the Defense Department’s “green initiatives,” which seek to reduce the country’s dependence on foreign energy sources.

Once ice on the surface of a body of water melts, it can never form again. Particularly at high latitudes, where temperatures are far below freezing for nine months a year.

Down here at 40N, we observe this every year.  Lakes and ponds melt every  spring, and then never freeze up again. This phenomenon has caused the Colorado Polar Bear population to shrink to dangerously low levels.

We had six months of beautiful warm weather in Colorado – until Obama’s plane landed for the debate.  Temperatures plummeted 35 degrees over the following hour, and winter arrived.

A bitter cold wind sent him on his way after his lousy debate performance.

Climate change is blamed for melting ice, shrinking animals and brewing more intense storms around the globe — but is it slowing the top finish times at the Boston Marathon? Not yet, researchers found, though future increases in temperature could mean fewer records are broken.

Runners typically dread hot race days. Warmer temperatures tend to drag on finish times, studies have shown, and the slower you run, the more minutes you’re likely to pile on during a boiling hot day.

This year saw one of the hottest marathons in Boston, with temperatures on April 16, 2012, soaring into the 80s — about 20 degrees Fahrenheit (11 degrees Celsius) higher than the normal high. Though that race day was unseasonably warm, temperatures in Boston have been rising at a relatively high rate over the past century.

The hottest April 16 in Massachusetts occurred in 1896, with temperatures reaching 87 degrees at Blue Hill and Lawrence. How does this crap get published?
