NSIDC continues to show record sea ice levels in Antarctica, but Antarctica is like Valdemort in their press releases (at least since the collapsing ice-shelf scam collapsed.)

There have been 47,437 forest fires this year. That is the smallest YTD total since the National Interagency Fire Center started tracking it in 2003. It is almost 25% below the mean and about one fourth of the 1938 total.

I live three miles from what was mindlessly described in June as Colorado’s largest fire on record. The usual crew of idiots declared that the fire would burn until the winter snows, but the fire was completely extinguished by summer rains by mid-July.

In late September 1898, a forest fire burned the entire northwest quadrant of the state. This year’s fire was about 1% that size, and it is cool and wet here in late September, 2012.

Our alarmist friends feel the need to lie about everything.

Whatever the winter weather is like, it will be blamed on “the record low ice extent.” It is trivial to demonstrate that September ice extent has essentially no effect on the climate.

1) Sea surface temperatures in the Arctic Ocean are at or close to the freezing point. The presence or absence of ice has little or no effect on the vapor pressure of water over the ice.

2) The sun is very low in the sky and the presence or absence of ice has little or no effect on the SW radiative balance

3) The Arctic Ocean is covered with clouds. Almost all of the small amount of light coming from the sun, reflects off the tops of the clouds.

In summary, there is no reason to believe that variations in September ice extent have any meaningful effect on the winter weather. It will all freeze over in the next few weeks.

Over the last two years, the consequences of 150 years of fossil-fuel development have materialized with a vengeance. The U.S. has experienced the worst drought in 80 years, replete with unprecedented Western fires and fears of widespread crop failure. This on the heels of record U.S. flooding throughout the Mississippi basin last year. These examples reflect only the U.S. experience, in a world where record-breaking extreme weather is becoming the norm.

In order to maintain their religion, the faithful have determined that it is OK to fabricate as many bogus statistics as their little minds can generate.

The drought is nowhere near record breaking or even particularly unusual.

Last year’s floods were not record breaking. The fire count this year is 25% below normal. The corn crop is the eighth largest on record in the US. Most of the record highs which the author refers to were from stations which didn’t  exist in the 1930s. Hurricane and tornado strikes are near historic lows, and there isn’t the slightest indication that global weather extremes are abnormal.

The religious faithful have created an inane mythology, which will be viewed in the future as an exceptional blip in human stupidity. These flaming morons actually believe that they have the capability to change the imaginary climate which they have created in their minds.

How about starting with something simpler, like balancing the budget and getting unemployment below eight percent?

The UK Met Office predicted that half of the years between 2011 and 2015 would be the hottest on record, but with El Nino collapsing – their divide an odd number by two error is pretty much doomed.

Our friends have been saying that late summer Arctic ice loss causes cold winters in Europe, but remarkably Europe sometimes has cold winters when late summer Arctic ice extent is high.

I have no idea how anyone could be dumb enough to believe that variations in September ice extent could control January/February weather, but peer review tells us that stupidity is rampant.

1. Pretend that you don’t notice the 30 year steady growth of Antarctic sea ice
2. Pretend that you don’t remember that you predicted maximum sea ice loss in the southern hemisphere
3. Highlight articles about Penguins being threatened by loss of Antarctic sea ice, at the same time Antarctic sea ice is setting record highs
4. Create a straw man argument that the increase in Antarctic sea ice does not disprove global warming
5. Say that you predicted the increase in Antarctic sea ice all along

We have now passed the date of the first coming of the holy Arctic minimum (9/24/2007) and as everyone can plainly see, the Arctic is doomed.

The August 2012 winter-like storm which broke up the ice and brought warm water to the surface has now defined the future of mankind. We will all certainly die in a fiery hell as a result of that storm.
