NASA of course failed to report the gain in ice, focusing  instead on the world’s smallest melt event (2 hours just above freezing) and an iceberg which calved off a glacier.

They do this because they are pushing an agenda, not science.

Our church of CO2 worship is threatened. There are interlopers among us. If you see any of these behaviors, report them immediately to the climate inquisition.

1. Blaming weather on anything other than CO2. It is blasphemy to deny the power of the one true CO2 god.
2. Claiming that current weather patterns mimic past weather patterns. This is impossible because the CO2 god was not with us at the time
3. Reporting weather data from before 1975.  That is the date when the CO2 god arrived on earth. Everything has changed now.
4. Reporting unadjusted data.  Only the high priests have the wisdom to interpret raw data.

We are in the process of converting all raw data files to Latin, to prevent further heresy.

Arizona, New Mexico and Colorado are all listed as having extreme drought.

None of those states have any forest fires at the present time, a very unusual circumstance for August. Apparently it is that new kind of extreme drought – drought sans dry.

Top climate scientists believe that a 0.0001 increase in CO2 atmospheric mole fraction can increase the temperature at Los Angeles by 12F.

These same people don’t believe that 2,000 square miles of asphalt and concrete, 10 million cars burning trillions of BTUs of gasoline, 15 million people, millions of air conditioners, and massive air pollution has a significant direct impact on the temperature in Los Angeles.

No UHI correction needed!

Careful analysis of recent events shows that every time Obama kills Osama, Muller shortly thereafter converts from being a skeptic to being an alarmist.

While we can’t definitively link specific Muller conversion events to Osama death events, we can say that this is exactly the sort of behavior we expect to see in the Obama banana republic.

Bill Read, director of the National Hurricane Center in Miami, estimated there were about 140,000 people in the smaller, “certain death” zone. About 70 percent of those residents evacuated. That left nearly 40,000 people to contend with the worst of the storm surge.

Alaska used to be the global warming canary in the coal mine, but it froze to death and the new canary is in Oklahoma.

Ice finally went out of Rabbit Lake in the Chugach Mountains in mid-July, ending fears that a new ice age might be brewing only a few thousand feet above Alaska’s largest city. But plenty of snow still clings to the mountains surrounding the lake at about 3,100 feet. And just over a ridge, ice floated in McHugh Lake at an elevation of only 2,900 feet near the end of July.

The National Weather Service has documented 7-13F UHI in Phoenix

By the end of the series, there was a +4 to 7 ºC (7 to 13 ºF) difference between the urban minimum temperatures and the rural minimum temperatures.
