It is almost 100 degrees and I have an upstairs 0ffice with no AC. Should I dial 911, or should I dial 1-800-turn-on-the-fan-and-stop-being-such-a-pathetic-little-pussy ?

It is hot in North America because cool Arctic air is not moving south. That means that the cool air is staying in the _rct_c.

“All adjustments to data move towards increased funding”
People keep posting how awful the condition of the ice is and that the world is experiencing a record heat wave. “Shirley” we must be headed for a spectacular record low.
It is the thinnest, rottenest, least extensive ice that man woman or alien has ever seen, and the heat index is 121 degrees.

Prior to the year 2000, the two hottest years in the GISS US record were 1934 and 1921 respectively. 1998 was the third hottest year, and more than half a degree cooler than 1934.
This of course made no sense to Hansen, because CO2 has increased a lot since the 1930s. Einstein once said “If the facts don’t fit the theory, change the facts.”
Hansen apparently took him literally.
Do men join the global warming movement for the same reason that some buy oversized trucks?
I highly recommend that you don’t click on the link.
Fred Singer tells me that there was supposed to be a projector in the CSU conference room, but that it “went missing.”
The complaint from the resident CSU atmospheric scientist warmists and the Coloradoan, was that he didn’t present any data to back up his assertions. Earlier in the day Fred gave the presentation at the CSU Physics department, who did provide him with a projector.
Fred offered to show the data on his laptop after the talk was over. I have no idea who is responsible, but it doesn’t look good for the university.
(CNN) — A giant explosion rocked government buildings in Oslo, Norway, on Friday, state TV broadcaster NRK said, with at least one person confirmed dead.
Windows in several buildings had been blown out, and people were in the street bleeding, NRK said on its website. The cause of the blast remains unknown.
There are conflicting reports about whether a second blast followed the first, which occurred mid-afternoon in the center of the Norwegian capital.
A spokesman for Oslo police told CNN: “There has been a bomb explosion in the government area. At least one person is dead, and a number of people are injured. We don’t have the exact number yet.
How could this be? Did China lie to the Nobel Prize winning village idiot?
U.S. Ambassador to the United Nations Susan Rice this week issued a blistering rebuke of Russia, China and other countries that blocked the Security Council from adopting a statement linking the threat of climate change to international peace and security.

CO2 was 315 ppm at the time. McKibben tells us that reducing CO2 to 350 ppm will stop glaciers from melting. Because he is a completely clueless, he is welcomed with open arms to almost all American universities.
