How Long Does It Take A European To Install An Air Conditioner?

According to Seth Borenstein, it takes more than 60 years.

Heat Will Kill More Than Cold in Europe Eventually

a new study in Europe finds that around 2040, the increase in heat deaths will likely outweigh the reduction in cold deaths. The study suggests that by 2070, global warming may cause 15,000 more temperature-related deaths a year in Europe, which has less air conditioning than the United States.

Unprecedented Rate of Rise Of Illiteracy!

The tsunami that sparked a meltdown in Japan’s Fukushima nuclear plant demonstrated the threat posed by natural disasters to the world’s developed economies.

Once considered rare events, catastrophic floods, tornadoes and forest fires are a symptom of climate volatility

That evidence is sometimes shocking, such as the tsunami that hit the east coast of Britain 8,000 years ago when it was still joined to continental Europe by a land corridor. “We call it the Storegga Slide,” says Harrison. “Melting glaciers caused a submarine landslide of sedimentary deposits off the Norwegian coast, sending an 11m wave crashing into Britain, Iceland, Greenland and North America.”

………………

Harrison warns that governments have been slow to respond. “The rise of global temperatures is unprecedented: the rate of increase over the past century would normally have taken place over tens of thousands of years.”

Yale : Arctic Washing Away Because Of CO2

This looks like it was written by a fifth grader.

As Arctic Sea Ice Retreats, Storms Take Toll on the Land

By Yale Environment 360 at Yale Environment 360

For millennia, the blanket of ice covering the Arctic Ocean protected the shore from damaging storms. But as that ice buffer disappears, increasingly powerful storm surges are eroding the coastline and sending walls of seawater inland, devastating Arctic ecosystems that support abundant wildlife.

The University Of Alaska is forecasting an historically late breakup of the ice off Barrow this year.

Arctic To Be Ice Free In Four Years

Because climate change in the Arctic region is occurring faster and to a greater extent than anywhere else, the Arctic Ocean may be ice-free for a short period of time as early as the summer of 2015, according to the 2009 Arctic Marine Shipping Assessment Report completed by the eight Arctic Council Nations.

– When Sermitsiaq.AG adds to the surprising announcement comes from drug group leader is also not the correct information because he does not have voted that way. The news, which brings Sermitsiaq.AG correcting for, was edited on as soon as the police complained to the media house, so it was not misleading more. The Chief of Police, who have complained to the Press Council.

Why Did These Men Die?

30 Americans have died since Memorial Day in Afghanistan, including one from Fort Collins. 970 troops have died in Afghanistan since Obama took office. What was the point? It seems clear now that Obama’s plan is to hand Afghanistan back to the Taliban.
