We know it can’t be coming from the Arctic, because the Arctic is melting. Obama’s science advisor says the Arctic will become ice free in Winter.

The map above combines the NOAA temperature anomaly map with the UNISYS SST anomaly map. There is a lot of anomalously cold air and water right now.
But we know this is impossible for the following reasons.
This leaves only two options.
Our ability to predict weather beyond three, four days is limited. In a certain sense, predicting climate is easier. It’s a matter of probability. On the other hand tomorrow’s temperature can be anywhere between minus 10 and 70 degrees depending on all of the variable occurrences between now and then.
The planet will fall apart if a bunch of hysterical nitwits can’t seize control of the government.
The Catastrophe of Climate Change Skepticism
Unlike in politics or painting, when it comes to climate change, the opinions of laypersons are not relevant.
In the face of another diplomatic disappointment in Cancun’s climate change talks, we approach the end of the hottest year on record. While experts again try to ring alarm bells, our media still gives voice to the pseudo-intellectual pursuit of climate skepticism. Perhaps while Rome burned, some bravely questioned the finer qualities of fire. Perhaps on Easter Island, as the last trees fell, some elders courageously debated the necessity of wood.
Today, our own Margaret Wente and Rex Murphy sing in tune with the likes of Glenn Beck, sincerely believing their skepticism to be a form of intellectual virtue. It is not.
The cool temperatures and a passing weak storm front brought snow to the summits of Mauna Kea and Mauna Loa on the Big Island.
Both mountains got a few inches of snow overnight that was visible this morning.
The National Weather Service has issued a wind advisory for both summits and for Haleakala on Maui because of cold, west winds of 30 to 40 mph, gusting up to 50 mph.
People driving to the summits should exercise caution and prepare for strong winds and cold weather conditions.

Scientists also know that hypothermia and frostbite are symptoms of heat stress.
Water is an interesting fluid. Normally fluids attempt to flatten, but in the case of seawater it locates poor countries and pools into mounds around their coastlines. By contrast, it leaves places like California alone.
Last year at this time, the press was hysterical about global warming at the Olympics.
Can anyone think of one useful thing that has come out of global warming research?
Climate scientists seem to be nearly 100% wrong, 100% percent of the time. It is a mindless religion based on superstition, not a science.
Manhattan is not underwater and snow is not a thing of the past.
