Doctor I Have Had A Headache Two Days In A Row

We don’t know what caused yesterday’s headache, but we do know that whatever it was did not cause today’s headache.

If you don’t know what caused yesterday’s headache, how do you know it didn’t cause today’s headache?

The consensus of doctors has determined what causes today’s headaches. It is the hot weather.

But it wasn’t hot yesterday.

Exactly, that is how we know that whatever caused yesterday’s headache could not have caused today’s headache.

Wouldn’t it make sense to try to find a common cause for both headaches?

Of course not, the consensus of doctors agrees that heat is causing today’s headaches, and it wasn’t hot yesterday. So the two headaches couldn’t have been caused by the same thing.

But my headache is just like yesterday.

Are you an MD? Are you qualified to disagree with me?

Of course not, doctor.

My Third Query To The Climate Science Rapid Response Team

Rising sea levels are often touted by climate scientists as evidence of global warming, yet we know that for the last 8,000 years sea level has steadily risen – while temperatures were steadily falling.

Why doesn’t peer review catch this type of blatant error?

Romm : Antarctica Melting Down In The Heat

He must be talking about a different Antarctica. The one on this planet is experiencing  record cold and ice.

Leonardo Wants To Boost The Tiger Population

Leonardo DiCaprio yesterday made a $1 million commitment to boost the population of tigers while attending a St. Petersburg summit hosted by Russian President Vladimir Putin, reported The Guardian of Britain.

I’ll bet there aren’t a lot of Tigers in his neighborhood. Maybe he should offer to let some run around in his yard?

No doubt people who live around Tigers are excited about the prospect of increasing their numbers.

Dr. Walt Meier : Ice Free Arctic During The Last 15,000 Years

“Examination of several proxy records (e.g., sediment cores) of sea ice indicate ice-free or near ice-free summer conditions for at least some time during the period of 15,000 to 5,000 years ago”

http://wattsupwiththat.com/2010/07/14/nsidcs-dr-walt-meier-part-2/

The Polar Bears must have gone extinct. And the Walruses. I’ll bet the Penguins died off in Antarctica too.

According to John Holdren and James Hansen, an ice free Arctic would also make the planet uninhabitable by humans.

“If you find yourself alone, riding in green fields with the sun on your face, do not be troubled. For you are in Elysium and you are already dead!”

World Record Wind In 1934

http://www.bmclark.org/

On April 12, 1934 a world record wind gust of 234 MPH occurred on Mt. Washington, New Hampshire.

“There was no doubt this morning that a super-hurricane, Mt. Washington style, was in full development.” — Log Book entry, Sal Pagliuca

http://www.mountwashington.org/about/visitor/recordwind.php

Atmospheric CO2 was at 310 ppm in 1934, well below Hansen’s safe level of 350 ppm.

The following year, 1935, saw the most powerful hurricane to ever hit the US, and to add to the fun – about 80% of the US was experiencing drought at the time. (If that happened now, Joe Romm would demand that Kool Aid be force fed.)

Peter Sinclair : Clueless About Ice

[youtube=http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-wbzK4v7GsM]

Peter Sinclair reels off one piece of misinformation after another in his monotone voice. Here are a couple of them.

Around time 4:40 he compares ice loss in the Arctic vs. ice gain in the Antarctic using percentages rather than absolute numbers. Perhaps he doesn’t realize that there is a lot more sea ice in the Antarctic, so the percentages are of course lower? When we measure the absolute extent of Arctic loss (red below) vs Antarctic gain (blue below) we see that they are currently about equal.

‘

If a 100 pound person loses 10% of their weight, and a 500 pound person gains 2% of their weight, what is the net change in total weight? Zero. That is why people don’t report weight in percentages.

Then around 5:15 he goes completely clueless when he claims that northern sea ice anomalies occur in summer when the sun is high in the sky, but southern sea ice anomalies occur in winter when the sun is low. Perhaps he doesn’t understand that seasons are reversed in the southern hemisphere?
