They have been lagging behind on Antartica for a while now as well, the sensors on that thing are a bit out dated and somewhat tempermental, they need to go to another sat but that will give problems with continuity

Hey Steve. I follow your and Anthonys site pretty religiously. I saw this weird grey shadow on one of their daily images about a month ago. Another commentor saw it but nothing wad reported on either of your sites. I knew they had sensor issues so I thought maybe they were just covering it up by filling in data. Maybe someone can find out. Thanks for all your hard work.
