Coldest April On Record In The Capital Of Greenland

According to GISS, the coldest April on record in Nuuk was -8.9C in 1949. GISS data isn’t out yet for April, but Weather Underground shows a mean temperature last month of 16F, which is also -8.9C.

How odd that Vicky Pope isn’t making any more press releases about Greenland.

I’ve been noticing the same. Northern Europe’s record warm April was like a mirror image of the record cold on Greenland and in northeast Canada. So I guess we’ll heat “that’s climate disruption!” 😉

  2. Bill Illis says:

Temps were -8.3C in April (average is -3.8C).
