Another point is that we learn to mistrust them and switch to other sources, even laughing at their stupidity as we move on and they don’t.
They are not that stupid…..
In order to do the work they do, they have to look at actual records.
In order to say the things they say, they have to lie……………..
They lie because they know the media simply turns a blid eye or can’t be bothered to investigate. They don’t ask a simple question like: If the glaciers are melting and it’s been the hottest decade and year on record then why isn’t the rate of sea level rise accelerating? Why has it recently been decelerating? Why has global warming effectively stopped? ………………………….

I’ll have to remember this when I encounter those who embrace the climate change rapture prophecies of James Hansen.
With AGW we continue to see failed predictions just like with the Rapture failure yesterday. They have many similarities the most important one being that they have convinced themselves that we are all going to fry no matter what the evidence to the contrary.
The Rapture may not have failed! Just because you know of no one that was taken during the rapture does not mean it did not occur. For all you know Steven could have been extracted and these posts are set to post at random times to appear as if Steven is still with us. I could be communicating through a Medium. You could be communicating through a medium. We just do not have enough data to do a statistical analysis.
Stranger things have happened, Supposedly intelligent people believe that CO2 will cause weather problems. Imagine that!!!

There’s a lot of money involved in global warming. It has been asked how good people in Germany joined the Nazi war movement, including scientists, good scientists. The attraction of money and power has been too strong in some cases for even ‘good people’ to resist. Scientists are humans too.
Let’s not fool ourselves that scientists are purely in pursuit of knowledge. They aren’t all Richard Feynman and Albert Einstein.
It has little to do with intelligence, nor of malice. It’s panic, the final death throes of the meek failing to inherit the Earth, the anxiety of a vampire family lost all night as the sun threatens to rise any moment, the existential spiritual horror of doomsday cult members whose star failed to rise in the sky at the anointed time.

Manipulative is the word I would use. The malice part is closer to the source of it.
In terms of the supposed ‘scientists’ working for the AGW cause, most of them are just ‘good Germans’ who stay silent and, at lower levels, just self serving drones who don’t know any better. Climatutes.
