Climate Scientists Lie In Unprecedented Ways

The Earth has changed in “unprecedented ways” since 1950, the U.N. says, and its scientists are 95 percent certain that humans are responsible.

UN climate change report dismisses slowdown in global warming | Fox News

I’ve been around almost the entire period since 1950, and I am quite certain that the IPCC is completely full of shit.

Here is a very short list of bad weather from a single year.

  1. Climatism says:

Reblogged this on CACA and commented:
If a ‘catastrophic’ event like Niagara Falls freezing into icicles had occurred within the last 15 years, the IPCC would have designated an entire chapter to it and the bureaucratic charlatans would hail it an ‘unprecedented’ climatic event, caused by evil mankind at a 95% certainty level.

  2. Colorado Wellington says:

I looked into an old atlas and the Earth did change dramatically since the 1950s. These countries existed then but are no more. They ceased to be. They are ex-countries.

    Spanish State
    Free Territory of Trieste
    People’s Republic of Hungary
    People’s Republic of Romania
    People’s Republic of Bulgaria
    German Democratic Republic
    People’s Republic of Poland
    Union of Soviet Socialist Republics
    People’s Republic of Albania
    People’s Republic of Czechoslovakia
    People’s Republic of Yugoslavia

Except for Francoist Spain and Trieste they all went to meet its maker in a cataclysmic warming event between 1989 and 1992. This was the watermelons’ worst disaster.

    • Andy DC says:

What about the People’s Republic of California, the Peoples Republic of Maryland, the Peoples Republic of Vermont, the Peoples Republic of Oregon. In other words the blue states. They are sitll very much in existence. Karl Marx lives!

      • Colorado Wellington says:

…and the People’s Republic of Boulder and other Soviet beachheads.

You are right. I should know better than trying to come with such finite lists. The situation in the theater is fluid and Nikita Khrushchev’s plan is well known:

        “???????? ??? ??? ???, ?? ??????? ?? ????? ???????. ?? ??? ????????.”

  3. scizzorbill says:

the only thing that is ‘unprecedented’ is the current climate alarmist propaganda.

  4. Pathway says:

And now we have the People’s Republic of America.

  5. Andy DC says:

By the way, those 1936 heat records in most places have not been remotely approached in recent years. Also during April 1936, two tornadoes only a day apart killed approximately 450 people in Tupelo, MS and Gainesville, GA.

Also, coldest winter in history for Northern Plains, -61 F in North Dakota.

September 1935, most intense hurricane in US history hit Florida Keys.

How much defecation would there be by alarmists if 1935-1936 were ever close to being repeated?

“What about the People’s Republic of California, the Peoples Republic of Maryland, the Peoples Republic of Vermont, the Peoples Republic of Oregon.”

Vermont? Any state with Constitution Carry (Vermont is the only one) does NOT qualify as a Peoples Republic. In Vermont, anyone over the age of 16 can carry — concealed carry or open carry. And they don’t need no stinkin’ permits.

Where’s the bloodbath? Vermont has considerably less than average violent crime. Gun control freaks don’t want to talk about Vermont. But if they did, they would chalk up the dearth of violent crime to the maple syrup.

Notice the death toll from heat waves. This has been largely eliminated by air conditioning. If Obama and the Sierra Club are successful in making electricity an unaffordable luxury, lots of people will die from the heat. Of course they will be mostly old people, and the left might be ok with it since it would take some pressure off the Obamacare death panels.

    • Colorado Wellington says:

The left will be ok with it because it would take some pressure off the Earth but they may favor more efficient methods:

And this is how Genghis Khan, who repeatedly wiped out entire settlements, was able to scrub more carbon from the atmosphere than any other despot.

‘We found that during the short events such as the Black Death and the Ming Dynasty collapse, the forest re-growth wasn’t enough to overcome the emissions from decaying material in the soil,’ explained Pongratz.

‘But during the longer-lasting ones like the Mongol invasion… there was enough time for the forests to re-grow and absorb significant amounts of carbon.’

  8. Rosco says:

In 1950 the world’s population was 2.5 billion. Of those the vast majority did not own any form of motor vehicle nor any electrical devices.

Today there are more than 7 billion of us.

Today the Chinese have abandoned the bicycle for the motor vehicle and a peasant lifestyle for modern living. The same is happening in India and Africa.

Are Climate Scientists really advocating genocide as the solution because I see no way the west is going to deny the developing nations population’s advancement once they have sampled it.

  9. Rosco says:

Just building more cities with paved roads on areas where there was previously open space will result in a localised increase in temperatures.

How do they propose to stop urbanisation in China, India and Africa ?

Again – are they proposing genocide ?

I think that was tried once – or twice or …

  10. Rosco says:

This climate bullshit is the new religion.

Let us hope its acolytes do not adopt the practices of the “religion of peace”.
