so melting ice creates an ice age?
love to have heard how they reckoned that one..

  2. mkelly says:

So, in 1969 they knew that sun spot activity added energy, but forgot that the reverse might be true today. Those Princeton guys are amazing.

  3. Smokie says:

We have a lot of people thinking that we are in a global warming trend but there is a majority of people that we think we are not. With concerns about ice sheets or melting of sea ice both could have an great effect on the ocean currents, that encircle the globe carrying colder water throughout this system. Colder water getting into just the Gulf Stream would have a tremendous effect on the Americas, Europe and Africa. This would definitely play a roll in upsetting the currents we have today and the benefits of that warm water making it’s rounds.

  4. Andy Oz says:

Coffs Harbour getting ready for sea level rise. The comments are quite telling. 97% reckon catastrophic sea level rise is bullshit.

From Evangelicals at Green Cross Australia:

“CSIRO research shows that 88% of Australians believe that climate change is happening. While 46.5% of them believe that humans are significantly contributing to it, 42.2% believe it’s just a natural fluctuation in earth’s temperatures. Whatever our belief, Australians know we need to prepare for a very different 21st century.”

So, despite the majority of Australians knowing CAGW is crap, CSIRO will go on spending millions on the myth anyway. And they wonder why voters are challenging their funding.

    • Smokie says:

Agreed! The King Tides are natural occurrence but leave it to the Global Warming Folks and they turn this into there own little fantasy world to trick the population. Now that is a downright fraudulent way of going about things. Lying fits this just right.

    But that – 1969 – doesn’t count.
The only thing that matters in this computer modeled, post scientific age, is that the agreed consensus view dictates that the ends justifies the means.
