Interestingly, it is the Midwestern farmers that listen to Hansen the least. I think they prefer nonfiction stories handed down father to son, about droughts and floods, hot Summers and cold Winters.

  2. Andy DC says:

We had 4 major drought related corn crop failures during the 1930’s. By contrast, over the last 25 years, there has only been one drought related corn crop reduction of more than 10%.

Hansen is totally FOS. His predictions have been a complete failure.

Hansen is a disciple of Thomas Robert Malthus. Malthusians always leave out the positive factors when working out their equations, they forget that mankind is good at solving as well as creating problems.

  3. Billy Liar says:

Frightening the ignorant seems to be the sport of choice for leftists in a position of authority.

  4. Larry Fields says:

In the 25 years since this article, all of Hansen’s gloomy predictions whose deadlines have lapsed, have proven to be complete BS. Yet mindless, scientifically illiterate Warmies still revere him as one of the world’s foremost authorities on Climate Change.

For closet Marxists, who choose to wear the appellation ‘Progressive’, truth is not important — unless it supports one’s archaic political ideology. An ounce of Political Correctness is worth a pound of pesky facts. And Gorebull Warming is arguably the dumbest aspect of PC.
