Psychologist John Ray confirms the cult nature of climate alarm today, by relating it to a well known “super activist phase”:

The reason the models are wrong is simple. The models assume that heat passes freely through the surface of water. A warm day means a warmer ocean. This is not the case. The surface of the ocean will allow radiation to pass through but physical heat from a heated gas is blocked by surface tension. If you find this hard to believe try to heat the surface of water using a paint stripping heat gun. Besides the energy entering the ocean by radiation there is no additional heat build up and it therefore follows that Anthropogenic Global Warming is total nonsense.
As long as the premise of the model is that CO2 drives the atmospheric temperature then they can never fix the model.

The Australian version of the Guardian. It was once an honourable publication but prints rubbish these days.
Any honest study of ocean temperature data going back to the 1950s would conclude that there really isn’t any data. Even with the new Argo program we are not doing too much better than measuring random fish farts.
Trenberth is either a first class loonie or he is earning money from the scam.
Any sane person listening to him talk about missing heat could not help but come to the same conclusion.
