CO2 Affects Green’s Brains

Greens like Obama prefer fracking and wind farms to coal.

If they had an ounce of brains in their head, they would realize that coal is far less environmentally destructive and much more localized, than either fracking or wind farms.

But then that’s the problem. Obama and crew are dealing with less than a full a deck.

Or a full deck of Jokers.

  2. Andy Oz says:

In Australia we say he has a few kangaroos loose in the top paddock or that he is a few sandwiches short of a picnic lunch.

  3. Mike D says:

The greenies don’t like fracking, they hate coal. If coal were banned tomorrow, they’d begin targeting fracking, because their goal is to make normal electricity sources expensive enough that wind and solar are competitive. They’re just using cheap natural gas to justify clamping down on coal right now.

Of course, the media is too dumb to point out that many old plants can not run on natural gas, so have to be completely replaced for tens or hundred of millions of dollars. It is like saying natural gas is cheaper to run cars, so we should ban gasoline because there’s a cheaper alternative. It ignores the change over costs.

What you’re saying Mike is that they don’t like any source that works, is affordable, and is reliable. In other words, they prefer a centrally managed economy that is Marxist.

  5. Bob says:

I see no problems associated with the development of natural gas resources through the use of hydraulic fracking. The science backs the premise that fracking is safe. I would prefer that wind was given the boot in favour of gas, solar, clean coal…anything! A windmill may work fine on my acreage but then it is my decision and my money. Don’t pass the costs on to those that are already stretched thin just to please some idiots at the Sierra Club or the Hollywood crowd. Large wind farm projects like the Atlantic Array are being cancelled due to poor economics.
