Everyone talks about the weather….I’m not sure how it’s a potentially sensitive topic. It’s not like race or money or politics or religion. Kinda makes it seem personal, doesn’t it?
Well, but that is the point now–the debate IS really about race, money, politics and religion now (or just an all-encompassing, false cry for “justice”), among the Insane Left. So more to the point, it’s all about a real war being waged upon us all, by them, because of the Manchurian Candidate-In-Chief in office.
The article is ‘sensitive’ because it is another barking mad … ‘snowfall may be a thing of the past’ … article.
I hope author Matt Ferner realizes that this statement is ©Dr David Viner and that he (Ferner) is just a plagiarist.
How inept of the Huffington Post to put up this article at the very time a major winter storm is in progress. We live in the Age of Incompetence.
So sad and sickening. Models to project how many ski resorts will be open 90 years from now. That is one of the stupidest thing I’ve ever heard.
Phys.org is now actively banning even my replacement accounts over there and leaving whole threads full of Nik hatred with no Nik posts left, as of this week, so it’s open territory again, guys, so GO OVER THERE MORE. They use OFF TOPIC as an excuse no matter what I post as the usual cult member abuse fills threads. Mail.com affords quick new accounts but now there’s one insider moderator who is on the side of the trolls. Mission Accomplished though, for about a year of totally unmoderated bliss, ha ha! My epic threads as NikFromNYC remain intact as a huge archive with good Google ranking. It was like a free high traffic blog for over a year for me, right up there with WUWT in terms of exposure. Using Marcott 2013 as a trump card I think got some attention so pressure was put on the site owners.
I just point to Willis’ plot of Marcott 2013 proxies and include this screen shot of Mann promoting it to the media:

It fried the circuits of regulars at the BoingBoing.net blog too, as they attempted to ban me in a riot of complaints about “talking points” etc.
The calls for censorship are now shrill, and serious. This fills me with great delight for it is their Enroncare public relations disaster in the making. Once I stopped debating cultists directly and merely switched to a game of exposing them as fanatics instead, any sense of frustration lifted.
Well done grasshopper!

Well over two feet of white in North MN, U. of MN Duluth has closed for the first time in at least several decades.
Checked out Huff Post. I detest the false impression given by the picture of condensed water vapor back lit to make it look like some kind of evil pollution.
Actually, the climate may make my winter vacation in Mexico, coming from MN look even better if the snowy cold continues.
Nik—thanks for the heads up on Phys.org. Have not been there, but will check it out.
Gotta love the picture of water vapour exiting the “smokestacks” to provide evidence of “pollution”.
How could anyone believe any word of any article that uses such obvious trick imagery ?
Just shows even they don’t believe their propaganda if they can’t be bothered to find real photographs to support their story.
Apparently, you need to be insensitive, not sensitive.
Steve, thought you’d like to know that your comment made it through moderation. In fact, there are quite a few comments I’m a little shocked to see slip by, given HuffPo’s usual leanings.
