A few days ago a rather “Progressive” friend of mine was speaking in favor of tighter gun control on US citizens. I responded that one of the big problems with a disarmed populace is that the people are then left more vulnerable to genocidal rogue government, for example the Jews murdered during WWII after being disarmed. “I don’t know if that is right,” he answered, “I never heard anything about the Jews not being allowed to own guns!” Needless to say, he had also never heard about Ukrainians being disarmed, or Armenians being disarmed, or Chinese being disarmed, etc. etc.

Wait a minute. Back in January, progressives were saying that the NRA was just a paper tiger with no real power. lol, what happened guys?
